It's not bad, but not really my taste for a mage. I do appreciate that Bioware is trying to create some a more unique style to their armor, but I think they are overdoing it a bit too much.

The more variety the better, I say! I'm sure we'll still have the option to wear regular helmets or cowels or go hatless.

Not a mage hat. Pimp hats for all classes! The one screenshot that came out a while ago had an Inquisitor with a pimp hat and a greatsword.

So yeah, looks like the Armor won't be very restricted like the weapons. All the classes in the new trailer had the same armor it seems.

This is an improvement over the stereotypical robes and hoods. I was worried there was an unwritten law that mages must flaunt their mage-ness in public.

 

Kudos to BioWare for actually thinking outside the box this time.

I can't say I am a fan of the overall outfit. I am guessing thismis probably a rare or dlc "robe"

The art direction is certainly more jrpg now. Then again I am sure its orlesian.

Look just because other people in the world have no sense of fashion is no reason for ME to conform to THEIR ideas of what should and should not be worn. And since I'm the one that can close the rifts they can either get behind me, get out of my way, or be stepped on by my fashionable boots.
