I almost feel like it'd be weird if  2/3 mages are ok with Cole. I almost want one to be indifferent, or almost mad scientist with Cole. Like they don't actually care about Cole, they only want to unravel the mystery. I think that'd be a lot more interesting in party dynamics/banter.

 

It seems like Vivi will not like Cole as much as the other two mages maybe she will find out Cole's abilities and exactly what he is and see if she can use them to her own ends whether it be manipulating Cole herself or something else.

I think Vivienne is most likely going to not want to be associated with Cole at all. She might not inherently dislike him but for political reasons it's logical for her to distance herself from an unknown, potential demon.

 

I can maybe see Solas mad scientist-ing Cole a bit. Since he's an expert of the Fade, he might be more...academic about Cole than caring.

Now I really want to see this in game! Solas following Cole around (as much as possible, that is), just watching him, and randomly asking weird, scientific questions, maybe even trying to do - hopefully harmless - experiments ...

Yeah, since we know very, very little about Solas, this is obviously just a theory, but it could be interesting.  *imagines Solas studying Cole, maybe prod him with some equipment, and Cole just sitting there being good but really confused about everything*

I'm interested in how Dorian will feel about Cole. I hope Cole is one of the ones mentioned in Dorian's writer interview, even if it's a long shot. Both Solas and Dorian, I think they could have interesting reactions as mages that aren't primarily mired down in all the political BS.

Oh my, Dorian sounds interesting, for some reason I was worried he would be huff puff angry butts, but I suppose it makes sense that a Tevinter mage would carry himself with confidence and charm since he's from a place of magey rule. He sounds like he'll be fun.

 

Since he is a Tevinter mage but hates everything about Tevinters setup, I do wonder if he'll see Cole as a threat or just pass him off hopefully not in the same was as Vivianne. Solas is the main one I'm interested in with his relations to Cole, though I blame the table set up because I found it layout weird how close Solas and Varric are to Cole. It's like they're having a party and I am curious to how the last mage is.

 

Since we have the cold political, charming outcast, like others in here I'm guessing Solas will be quiet study.

 I don't think Cole will be a love interest, but he has definitely caught my eye, as well as the eyes of others. Some other bookworms and those who take Gaider's tweet much too literally will jump/attack/flame anyone who finds the character intriguing. Different strokes. Name calling doesn't make any sense to me (i.e. necrophiliac, pedophile). Weird. Also this character isn't a corpse, just an apparition. So I think necrophiliac isn't right. Is there a word for folks who are in love with ghosts/spirits? What's the word for Demi Moore's character from "Ghost"? Patrickswayziac? Kidding. Dirty Dance-o-phile? Ok. I'll stop. 

 

The correct term is spectrophile, actually. Yes, it is a thing.

Edit: Upon checking if I was right or not, the term would more accurately be daimonophilia.

You know it's funny, in the interview about Cole, Iron Bull's opinion about Cole was that he was a squirrelly kid that needs a night of good drink and bad women to get him sorted out.  I don't know why but I can just picture Cole hunched over like a squirrel with his mouth full of nuts and scampering around to give Iron Bull that impression. lol

I've heard squirrelly used to describe people that are thinner, twitchy and maybe a little strange. People have called my boyfriend squirrelly cause when he gets excited or nervous his hands get really twitchy. So much so that the border crossing thought we were smuggling drugs.

So I can see Cole being like that haha.

Yeah, that is one of the definitions of squirrelly but I just had that vision of him when I heard the word.

 

Though with how odd Cole is, having him scampering around with a mouth full of nuts like a squirrel is definitely within the realm of possibility for him I think.  What with him doing things like putting turnips in the fireplace. lol

Most attractive? I think that's pretty subjective but I am pretty sure if you tallied people's opinions that spot would go to Cullen or Dorian haha.
