Which I assume means he pockets it. So, technically, he does still have a copy of of the Litany, though I don't think he would have had a chance to use it when Cole confronts him.
Oh yeah he does pocket it again, page 393 in the physical book. The last full paragraph on that page.
Honestly when I saw Cole he creeped me the f#$k out. I dont know zip about him or read the novels,but after looking into it by summery, am really curious about him. But still he scares me little

Cole's hair. I cannot deal with Cole's hair. It needs some more, I dunno? Meshes? Because currently he looks like Viserys but the gold froze like halfway down his face. A haircut like he had on the back of Asunder would be great.

This is nothing about high road or about the character at this point, you have gotten to the point you are sassing at people who have different tastes than you. You are not being respectful to the people when you sit there going "What is wrong with you people!" and "I gagged!" when they talk about a character.
You want to be respected? Be respectful to other peoples opinions and realize that they like something that you do not like. I agree that the whole hug thing brings nothing to a conversation but neither does the gagging, but there is a natural silence and nothing much to talk about other than the enjoyment of the character or lack there of, but you have been purposely quoting people about their opinions. Alex said as long as the conversations are civil that is okay, it is not okay to sit there and degrade a person for their opinions on a character.

I'm not being rude. You are making the assumption that your opinion is fact. It is not. I did not degrade the poster by quoting them. I expressed my reaction to what they posted which is the purpose of a forum. I made no, and frankly have no, opinion about the poster themselves.

Coles abilities seem to be in the same realm as those of a Shade. A spirit with a tangible form on the mortal side of the Veil, that can vanish and reappear at will, and manipulate the perceptions of those around it.
Maybe it's like traditional sneak, where you go invisible if the enemy isn't paying attention to you, but Cole can do it even when the enemies are looking? Even if they forget him when he disappears, I can't see them continuing to not know he's there when he stabs/attacks them. Or, if his attacks aren't too strong, and most of his ability lies in subterfuge, then he won't be a game breaker. This would make him a great support character.

I think his fighting spec will be similar to the subterfuge spec in DA2, with the associated cooldowns and such keeping him from being overpowered. I do wonder if we can resolve some of the quest lines in interesting ways if we bring him along, and if his skill set can help us out outside of combat - like by finding keys, and eavesdropping and such.

That's what I thought, though of course it'll probably work a little differently in order to be consistent with his abilities in Asunder, and with decent cooldown times he won't be overpowered. He's a rogue anyway, disappearing and reappearing has been part of the rogue skillset since DA:O. He just does it differently than, for example, Isabela who probably uses something like a smoke bomb to get the effect. It'd be interesting to have him as a spy outside of gameplay, by sending him to locations and making him listen in and note down what others say.
Ironically (I mostly play as rogues), Cole's skillset was exactly what I would have expected out of a Rogue/Mage class cross. There was a time on the older forum before the game was released, that in DA2, it was conjectured that regardless of your class,Hawke would ultimately be a mage. A roguish mage might be able to become effectively invisible or change appearance, and depending on good/evil alignment be able to sway the thoughts of others.
I'll freely admit, Cole has the potential to have a very useful skillset, in combat and outside of it. I don't see it happening early, but if the Inquisition is made aware of Coles real history with no sugar coating (ie it is made abundantly clear that it did habitually killed innocent men, women, and children in cold blood for what amounts to the thrill of it), I'd probably turn Cole away. I can imagine that shoe not dropping until well after Cole has established itself as a valuable part of the Inquisition. Deciding Coles fate at that point, hopefully, will be an option.
