His voice can very much sound child like, it sounds very young as pointed above, maybe when we hear the actually voice acting you'll be convinced more :>

Cole isn't a child so I'm glad he doesn't sound like one. Yay! I think it's funny that people believe one's mentality has any effect on them physically.

What would you consider "childlike"? Simply sounding like a 14 year old going through puberty? His VA already sounds youngish and he could easily alter his voice for the role.
Cole is also a demon/spirit with a manifested body of a young adult so I just don't understand I guess.

He took an incredibly complex character and ran with him wonderfully.
I doubted, and then the first time I heard his lines come in, I thought, "Yup. That's Cole."
That sold me right there. I doubt I'm going to disagree with them.
So I looked up an interview of the voice actor.
Oh goodness even just regular speaking voice he sounds pitch perfect to how I think Cole would sound. Soft with an accent, sounds a bit like he has a cold with the gravely with the throat. That's a wonderful choice and I can't wait to see the actual character voice interview that they do, considering this is just talking voice vs acting voice and all.
Never heard of him before, I think this is his first video game. Everything else on IMDB of his roles I've never heard of.

Since the Breach opening supposedly killed all the faction leaders, I imagine that Rhys (and Fiona I guess) got caught in it too.

But they said the issue of Alistair's parentage would be addressed in Inquisition. I actually think instead of hope that Fiona will live now.

Uh, I'm sort of indifferent I guess? I think his voice fits at least. It's hard for me to explain. It's like...I always know the developers/writers/whoever decide things and my personal hopes won't affect what they decide; so I don't hope for anything right from the beginning. I leave everything a blank slate, so to speak. "It is what it is." I don't know if this makes any sense, sorry. 
I like the VA a lot from what I've heard in clips. Going by his normal speaking voice it's youthful sounding, but not childish (thank gawd). Though he may be doing something entirely different in-game, so who knows until we get a clip of Cole doing something other than standing & staring, hehe.

Wouldn't Fiona only be killed. She is the Grand Enchanter. And, Rhys isn't a faction leader. He is not even the head of his fraternity. So, if he is no a leader in the Circle than why does have to be there? If anything he could be a contender for the next Grand Enchanter if Fiona dies. And, if he is a contender Cole would have a big role in the mage story line. Cole could be the mediator to put Rhys in the seat of Grand Enchanter for people who have not read the book.
Just watched Norton's interview for Belle, wow... that was perfect for Cole, it's exactly how I pictured Cole's voice! They chose the perfect VA for him. There's just the right amount of shakiness and adolescence to it.

...Rhys is the leader of his fraternity. Irving asked him to become leader of the Aequitarians at Andoral's Reach before the final vote for independence was cast.
If anything, Fiona and Adrian would be the ones to survive. If the meeting at the Temple of Sacred Ashes was a peace talk, then it would make more sense for Rhys to be there than either Fiona or Adrian, with both of them leaning more heavily to a radical side, I doubt they'd even attend the meeting.
James Norton seems suitably soft spoken while elegantly avoiding sounding childlike or effeminate. Fredward approves +15.
