He's in like every guest role on brit TV ATM. He's really talented and so versatile. Lots of good English actors but not many who are versatile like he is. I always notice him in shows. Been following his career inadvertently for a bit!

This reminds me, given how Vivienne and Sera seem apprehensive about Cole, do you guys think it would be possible for the Inquisitor to recruit Cole while having some wariness about dealing with a spirit (via the Andrastian concern that he may be a demon, or the Dalish view that all spirits are dangerous)?

I think it'd depend on whether the Inquisitor and Co. get to know he's a spirit or not on recruitment. If you don't know, you'd probably just get options that make it seem like you think he's just a "normal" person. If that were the case though, I'm sure when you "find out" you'll have the option to freak out appropriately for the character you're roleplaying. If you know he's a spirit right from the get go, I'm sure you can react then too. Patrick did say you can turn Cole away if you like.

I think we'll know from the get go that his a spirit/demon because Bioware has made no attempt to hide the fact that his not human in the marketing.
I'm sure Cole fans have seen this, but in case not ^^

...Rhys is the leader of his fraternity. Irving asked him to become leader of the Aequitarians at Andoral's Reach before the final vote for independence was cast.
If anything, Fiona and Adrian would be the ones to survive. If the meeting at the Temple of Sacred Ashes was a peace talk, then it would make more sense for Rhys to be there than either Fiona or Adrian, with both of them leaning more heavily to a radical side, I doubt they'd even attend the meeting.
But, Fiona is the Grand Enchanter making her the leader of the Circle. And, if all the faction leaders are at the peace gathering Fiona would have no choice but to be there. And, the Chantry doesn't believe the fraternities to be Circle leaders, just Circle sub groups. From what I see the mages at the gathering will be Grand Enchanter Fiona and the First Enchanters (Sorry Irving). If the Grand and First Enchanters are kill the fraternities take power of the Circle. That would leave Rhys, Adrian and other fraternity front runners fighting for the seat of Grand Enchanter.
VA definitely sounds right to me. Has a higher pitch, but not so high that it's grating. I like it.

Yet they also said they would address the Alistair-Fiona relation in DAI. Can't really do that if she dies in the first 5 minutes.

A letter enclosed in her will. I kind of see this going as a side quest with little to no face time. I have a hard time thinking this is going to be a big thing. They have killed off Marric, and Fiona's story line is close to its end. I can't see this being big without excluding the people that haven't read the books.

Simple. Have Alistair and Fiona meet in person. The leader of Ferelden would probably want to discuss things with the leader of the Mages since they are in his kingdom. After Alistair leaves have Fiona smirk and say something about him being like her and/or Maric when they were that age.

Or, a codex. We'll have a whole team of spies. So, who to say that they don't steal Fiona's journal in hopes getting info on the Circle fraternity leaders, and in getting the journal you get the codex on the subject and maybe a side quest?

What would the Side Quest entail? Getting Fiona and Alistair to talk about it somehow?

Deepens on she is alive or not. I would be nice to see it. But, I do not see how the Inquisition could get involved in this kind of family affair without hurting relations with the Circle and Ferelden. You would have to blackmail one or both of them just to get them to talk alone in the same, let alone have you looking in the background. I see this working as a one sided conversation with Alistair.
You can use the info in her journal to blackmail the various factions of mages to side with you, use It to talk down the mages to prevent them from acting badly. Then there is a bit about realizing how far her estranged son has come(now that he's a monarch) and how proud Maric would be of him. You can courier it off to alistair and in gratitude for shedding light on his past he sends off some troops/resources/ stuffWhat would the Side Quest entail? Thank you. I'm so happy that someone doesn't think this is a bad theory.

Unless the people who originally find out are the Templars. They can be the ones planning the blackmailing and you stop them. While stopping them you figure out what it is and bring it forward to either Fiona and/or Alistair. With their past brought up and almost used against them, they figure it should be something addressed since the secret's out. Afterwords you earn points from both the mages and Ferelden.
As for when this happens, it could be discovered during Cole's quest of finding Rhys.

Fiona has made it clear in The Calling that she never wants Alistair to know who she is. If this info got out and the two saw each other it would only be for her to set fire to the journal and walk away. If anything, if Alistair takes this well you'd get 5-10 agents.
And, on this find Rhys quest are we looking at the mage stronghold or the temple?

True, but as I said the info's gotten out so her hand would be forced. Though seeing her burn the paper up and tell us to not say a word would be funny and in-character. ![]()
Probably mage stronghold since they would have last known whereabouts of all VIPs. I could see it being a way to meet a bunch of Asunder characters. Like you go to Fiona, who tells you Evangeline may know, you go to Evangeline, and she accompanies you to the last known location of Rhys.
Getting a bit off topic with the Fiona conversation. ![]()

I brought it back to Cole though by putting her side quest under the larger Cole personal quest. ![]()
