Slow days these days for the Cole thread. And in general just Cole news, so I'll try bringing up the topic I had been wondering about for a while but it kept being swept under a wave of looping madness that was happening before.
What if, Rhys isn't having anything to do with the big event of explosion at the meeting, since at the end of the book he and the other mages are moving up north I think it was? To one of the areas we aren't going to in game. So rather than Cole joining the Inquisition because of his personal attachment to Rhys (or lack there of since after the book it clearly seems he falls out of contact of him hard and doesn't return to him) he gets added to the group because of his previous connections to Lilenna...
And a possible ability to heal the Tranquils.
He is apparently a spirit/demon character, and it's established in the book that it only takes one of them poking at a Tranquils mind and they're all fixed up. What if he's going around helping the mages/tranquils that way and his storyline is more based around the aid of the mages in a totally different way. Making the healing tranquils information get out much more than before?
How would you lot feel about the idea of the Tranquils getting healed up of their Tranquility as a plot that was carried over from Asunder and brought along with Cole. I mean, as much logic as it makes that Rhys being at the big explosion, it doesn't make entire sense to me because of the end of the book they're going to a different territory that we can't even go to in game. (If I remember that bit wrong let me know <_>)
