Thanks for sharing all these pics and making them. It's been my joy to look through this thread in the past few days and is making the wait easier ;D

 

I'm curious to see if there will be references to Asunder - especially Rhys and Eveline and generally how we'll run into Cole and recruit him and what kind of personality he represent. I guess one can say those who've read Asunder have seen him at his worst, so... perhaps now we'll get to see him at his best, if we play the cards right?

If Lambert's still alive I'm not sure he'll be in a fit state to do anything, after all he hasn't been seen since whatever happened, if he was fine he would've just gone back to leading the Seekers I assume

So...this armor might actually be in game. I was watching this gameplay video and I'm pretty sure it's the same set or at least very similar.

 

Edit: the coat and hat are very similar, not so sure about the pants (everything below the waist)

I noticed that. Maybe it is the full set of that armor. However, it seems like that red note is not in his buckle. So I believe it is highly related to Cole’s personal quest in DAI. I hope it was not paint by someone’s blood.

Agreed. Knowing my luck I will finish all fade entering quests bore I find the quest I recruit him

Cole's fade nightmare might be the whole Lambert banishing him thing again. Or maybe Rhys leaving him and forgetting him. Cole in the fade does sound intresting. Cole is not like the Ander/Justice thing so maybe its a reflection of whatever he was before he found "Cole". Dose not strike as a pride or desire demon or even rage or justice. I'm curious as what a desire demon would use to temp Cole, assuming he could be temped. Anders was the only one in 2 who wouldn't turn on you the fade at a demon's urging.

Can a demon/spirit be tricked by another demon in fade? We know Anders wouldn't be effected by fade illusions because Justice were possessing him, but why Cole still have that nightmare?

Cole doesn't need to be a fashionist. And I think the hat is kind of cute :3 I'd love to brush out his hair and give him a hair cut. I like seeing the eyes of characters and I'd sure love to see his -^^-

 

If he's anything like in Asunder, he's canonly taken under my Inquisitors wing no matter which one I'm currently playing. If he still needs any guidiance or 'under-wing-takin'.

My guess would be that it's because Cole is both a hundred times less experienced than Justice at that point, doesn't know what he is and, as I see it, is far deeper involved with his "human" persona that Justice ever was. Plus the pressure of the intensity of all those repressed memories.

 

I'd be very interested to know if something similar to Cole's experiences would have happened if Anders had been exposed to the Fade in, say, Act 3 friendship path, where in some ways it looks like Justice and Anders have more or less totally become the same person rather than two people in one body.

Didn't think Cole looked like a scarecrow when reading Asunder but then again i had a pretty bland look for him in my head. It's a nice look, makes me exited for Halloween.

I think the reason of why spirit won't be tricked by other fade beings is due to the lack of creativity, they can't dream (which Cole can), they don't have wide arrange of emotions and second judgments (which Cole has), so perhaps the soul of human Cole is still exist somehow with whatever is possessing him?
