These are glorious XD I knew the one with the bites already, but I didn't knew the others XD
I love them ![]()
Good job finding them.
Also, don't bully Cole. If he doesn't bite you, I might send my qunari inquisitor to do so :3

Oh Morie!!!!
This turned out very beautiful -^3^-
Thank you for sharing. I especially like the way you sneaked the eye rings in, his expression, hair fall and the way you put those little threads onto the collar!
Yay more art! I'd actually prefer if the artists post their own things here since I'm human and I might make a mistake giving the right source. (plus the artist gets the likes instead of me)
I also used to post the art as I saw it pop up on tumblr or deviantart, but the last few months I haven't been keeping up on it as much. So keep it up and keep posting art so I don't feel as bad for slacking. ![]()
*lurks out of her forum "corner"*
hey... umm, i'll leave it here, m'kay? (:
couldn't refrain myself from painting my inquisitor's lil' spirit brother ;u; (i feel i'm gonna like him)

Maker! o.O
Thank you for sharing, that's ... friggin' awesome!!!
Morie's gorgeous fanart made me think of something... because I may have been staring at it a bit too much...
Does Cole shave? If he really is in his late teens/early 20's, he would, wouldn't he? At least a little? But if he doesn't, would that indicate his body is more of a "projection" as opposed to a real, solid, physical, earthbound body?
Pardon the bizarre, random thought ![]()

artemis sweetie, that's actually a really interesting thought o_o
well i knew a guy once, who was 27 yo and couldn't grow a beard on his jaw. it could take him a whole week to get a little of stubble under his nose and on his chin (:
but how does cole's body react to the fact of being reanimated? is it prone to decomposition like justice's? or maybe as you said, it's only a projection?
(i haven't read the book yet, so i'm sorry if it have been explained somewhere)

Hmm. Lucky guy that you knew, unless he really really wanted to grow a beard
I am lazy, so if I had a male body I'm pretty sure I would hardly ever shave. I'd look like a mountain man.
So I don't think we have confirmation that Cole's body is "LITERALLY" the same body as the boy "Cole" who died in the Circle dungeon. Since Cole disappeared during the Litany of Adralla (sp?) then I guess that proves it's a projection? I've just never been comfortable with that. I mean he is a "projection" who can still touch people. Does he eat? I know, these are those timeless Cole questions we've been asking since Asunder
Hopefully DAI will answer them.
I guess my main thoughts are: Is his body real or is it a projection?
If it is real: Does it age? Or is it like a gollum's body--did he simply "create" it somehow, and it is in a state of stasis?
i hope that da:i will answer all of our questions and assumptions, or at least most of them (:
Wow I haven't poked around in these character threads at all, what tremendous art work and cartoons. I'm really impressed. Wonderful stuff.

There isn't confirmation on exactly what Cole is yet.
We know he needs to eat, sleep, he sweats and bleeds. He mentions these things on one of the first couple pages of Asunder. He also did indeed disappear after Lambert calls him a demon. If he had simply gone invisible again, Rhys would still have been able to see him. If he was possessing a body wouldn't spirit!Cole have merely gone and left the body behind? Why would a reanimated corpse need to eat or sleep, or be able to bleed?
There are plenty of ways demons can come into the material world that isn't a projection. Shades do this by drawing energy from living beings to manifest physical bodies. But really we don't know. He could be an abomination, a manifestation, or something else entirely.
Why would a reanimated corpse need to eat or sleep, or be able to bleed?
Wynne did all of those things, and lo and behold what was she?
An Animated, Possessed corpse.

No she wasn't. Wynne's body was brought back to life, it wasn't a corpse. She even says she was given life back. Demons possess corpses all the time and they are still dead and decrepit.

She died, She was reanimated via possession.
._.
Its pretty simple, she died, she was possessed and she walks!
And you are just assuming now that all possessed undead are similar, why wouldn't higher end undead look like higher end undead?
It's like comparing a zombie to vampire, both possess undeath, one possess actual sentience.
I mean to be honest, all we have from her to make it seem that is not undead is her assurance she is not.
But to my knowledge, not even magic can recover a departing soul from a dead body; So it seems either this spirit did what was assured as impossible via by in game sources and lore, or the much simpler explanation, undead.

Well... I think Litany of Adralla kinda proves that his physical body is not a projection, because other wise it would force him to return to his demon/spirit appearance. But Litany of Adralla can only disrupt his invisibility, not physical existence, not even his combat skill. It only implies that his invisibility is demonic, which we've already known, because otherwise Cole wouldn't fight against it so hard right? As for his later disappearence, I think it was Cole's decision, and Litany of Adralla just simply passed its effective time.
And when I start to thinking in that way, I even had an idea that Litany of Adralla could be such a treasure for Cole. "Hey, you should steal that one, it can solve your frustrating invisible issue!"
