Sounds & looks like seeker related.
Intersting. Given that I'm guessing the '5' indicates the level of the boss... I'm glad to see we'll likely be able to recruit Cole early on
Pls don’t make me ran all over the world just to find you...

Cassandra: Why are you acting like a headless chicken from the very beginning?

Vivienne: *scofs* "Did you see that man's hat? Ridiculous!"
Inquisitor: "That could have been Cole, he wears a hat! Lets go back and take a look."
Cassandra: "Inquisitor, we found a thief trying to break into the Inquisition's food stores."
Inquisitor: "Is his name C-"
Cassandra: "No!"
LMAO
Okay, I've been thinking a lot about my first inquisitor, who she'll get along with and who she won't, and I really think now that Cole may be the person she gets on with best. I don't envision their relationship as a one way street either, where she just looks out for Cole as a little brother - she'll probably look to him for guidance as well, strange as it sounds, if he can give it.
I mean, she feels about as dead as he looks - she's basically given up on people, and Cole who's not even human, who many call a demon, totally ostracized, hasn't. He cares way more about people than she does at this point, I think, and his persistence in being good and doing right by others without getting anything in return is something that she wants to get back for herself, and she'll respect Cole and be drawn to him for it. His presence will be a reminder that she should do better, and that there's no reason whatsoever that she can't. I think she'll see Cole as being a better person than most actual people, because at least he tries. The challenge for my inquisitor will be not slipping into the opinion that he's a naive spirit that has no clue about humanity because he isn't part of it. Its the easy opinion for her, and I'm hoping that she gets a good sense of Cole early on so that she doesn't take it.
She's a mage too, so changing who you are, and especially who you are in the eyes of others, she'll relate to that with Cole.
I wasn't much of a Cole fan before, but I'm looking forward to him quite a bit now in DA:I. ![]()
...
These are the words always in my heart. I know many people regard him as their son or a helpless child who needs protection and guidance. Even though it's funny, but deep down in my heart, I know I can't genuinely believe it, especially when I read the part about how he saved Rhys, his ability to draft and execute a plan, his determination and imperturbability really impressed me, and he proved himself many times in the book that he can totally be a helpful companion other than a childish troublemaker.
Although he doesn't adept in communication and dosen't know how to see the world in a worldly way, but if the game gives me an option to interfere with his character development, to make him more smooth and sophisticated, still, I will never touch that option.
Mutual respect is the first step of understanding. Besides, I see so many things on Cole that are worth to be learned from. Like your inquisitor, I constantly need to regain the confidence about people even the world always treat me with kind and generosity.
Nevertheless, a character like Cole, who has seen the darkest side of the world and bears the agony of fate, still not giving up on people, still wants to protect them whatever it takes. It reminds me about Rorschach from WatchMen, Rust Cohle from True Detective, their tenacity is so pure and rare that may only exist in fiction stories. But their attitudes formed an absolute standard, reminds me about mercy and justice each time when I'm all in a spin and full of cynicism.
Thank you Cole. ![]()
People may forget you but I won't.
Sometimes I doubt the path I chose
Sometimes my dreams feel all on hold
There's no doubt that this will make me strong
Because it's the hardest thing I've ever done
Despite this cruel world and all my best efforts
You surprise me with just how perfect you are
Even with all my flaws and my bad examples
You surprise me with just how perfect you are
And when I'm lost
You search for me
And when I doubt
You're my belief
I'm suppose to be the stronger one
You always seem to prove that theory wrong
Still, I hold my breath each time you go out in the world that's beyond my control
If you are dreaming
I never want to wake you up
Despite this cruel world and all my best efforts
You surprise me with just how perfect you are
Even with all my flaws and my bad examples
You surprise me with just how perfect you are
When I'm all in a spin
Full of cynicism
You remind me of just how perfect you are
When I'm at my wit’s end and I'm losing my head
You remind me of just how lucky I am

Cole has a pretty face. He is hot. ![]()

Spoiler
Would just like to point out that we didn't see Cole knife Lambert; the book ends with "Look into my eyes". So everyone assumes he just goes ahead and kills him. Since Lambert's body has disappeared and he is "missing presumed dead", nothing is certain until confirmed, either by someone who has found Lambert's dead body or Cole himself. There is also the possibility that if Cole did just go ahead and knife him, something else raised him back up afterwards, so Lambert is now running around as some sort of undead monster, which could be really creepy, not to mention dangerous.

I don't believe he's dead either. It's just that "look into my eyes" is exactly what Cole said to his victims right? I really hope he is alive though because I would love to make that bastard Tranquil after beating him senselessly with my staff.
Oh, I don't think he's dead for a minute! He probably whipped out some last-minute Seeker voodoo.
Still, it was a pretty epic moment.
Like a holy smite?

Or reciting the Litany?
Or a dozen or so other things that i think of.
I mean with a Seeker you have so many options, i mean these are professional warriors that have usually have years or more of infield experience and extensive training.
I mean he could have gouged cole's eyes out with his thumb and ran away.
Spoiler
I wonder if Cole will have unique abilities. Think he could have an ability like Heartseeker in Awakening where you can backstab enemies back to back?
I hope he doesn't have anything weapon-specific like that... I plan on using him as an archer.
The only reason Lambert survived this is that Cole did not intend to kill him. Litany of Adralla can’t save his life, it can only make Cole visible not invisible.
Nothing can save him but Cole’s mercy, on the premise that he deserve any.

It caused Cole to recoil earlier in the book.
I remember that, he recoiled because he tried to be invisible and he was visible when his knife pressed against Lambert’s throat.
Litany had no effect on anything else.
