Im interested in the dark power Cole sensed in Lambert that made him different to other Templars.

Im looking forward to having Cole around as a Necromancer. Cole is the sort of spirit in sure any necromancer would like to have.

We have englisch television programmes here and OMG..when Grantchester was on I  felt for sure my dad heard me squeak in happiness   James Norton is such a wonderful actor -- he'll also be in Northmen: A Viking saga.    But in Grantchester, I couldn't help but feel like he was such a cute personality and his voice. It was adorable.   It sounded like he had a bit of a lisp (I think it is called?) and I kept closing my eyes and was trying to imagine Cole talk.  It's official...my quizzies are going to go full on maternal (including my male kossith)

The mullet was a little more...shocking than the butt hook. I mean I know Cole was a poor kid from a farm but I didn't realize he was also from the 80's.

The rest of that outfit has a lot of other things; small daggers (I guess for throwing?) around his lower back, curved knives (karambits maybe?) at his sides. I'm guessing the butthook™ has some sort of use, maybe to zip line down ropes or something?

I think it's going to be kinda hard for me to like Cole.  He looks waaay to much like the Scarecrow from Wizard of Oz.

 

And my Inquisitor is already going to be an Assassin-like char.   There can be only one!

It would be amazing if Lambert were really some sort of evil creature/person/thing and is the one that caused the breach. Really. Then it'd be all Cole's fault for not knifing the bastard when he could. In the end, Cole would sacrifice himself to take down Lambert in an epic twist.

Hey guys,

so I'm new and I just had to visit the cole thread. He is so far my favourite companion in DA:I.

After I was done with Asunder I was his fan immediately but I can understand that some don't like him. I am more of the let-me-hug-him-pls-fan myself, I just want to mother befriend him, so he is not so lost and lonely in this world anymore. I know he is a spirit/demon but that dosen't mean he is evil. I kinda share the dalish thinking that there are no good spirits but there are no evil ones either. They are a bit like any other races for me and I judge them by their own actions.

In coles case, sure he has done some things that are kinda... not so nice (even if he does it with a understandable reason) but a lot of other companions were murder too (Zevran, Velanna, Sten) without them being influenced by a demon. And they all turn out to be decent friends in the end.

I will definitely give him the chance to help and show others that the world is not just black and white and that even a spirit/demon can aid the helpless, and I hope some of his critics will give him this chance as well.

Hey everyone! I saw this gif and thought of Cole! (like in the beginning of asunder)  It just breaks your heart and makes you wanna hug him as soon as you see him! (imo)
