Aww, Cole is adorable as a little misfit.
And now you've got me thinking, an adorkable misfit with the power of invisibility, who started out as an anti-hero by (accidentally) killing a few people, before taking a major level in badass and deciding he wanted to be a hero? Didn't Iwan Rheon play the exact same character as Cole in Misfits, only with darker hair?

Oh man, I was completely neutral on Cole before that video, but now I'm freaking out because he seems like such an adorable awkward turtle weirdo. :3333
Not gonna lie, this is.. the single best sentence I've read all week.

I love how he crosses his arms...
It's probably just his idle animation but in the context of that conversation it makes him look like a petulant teenager. "But MOOooMm!"
Yes, but tavern can be such a chaos and knives shouldn't be scattered everywhere. Why don’t you get it Cameron!

I think he might have just been trying to help and not realized how it seemed to others. My Quizzies will scold him or let him do his thing based on their personalities and priorities, but I personally think it's fine.

Besides, what else he can do? nobody can see him and remember him, so he just follows them around and pups up from the air and says: you shouldn’t put it here, it’s too dangerous…they will immediately grab the knife and thrust at his face...
Thus, I won't judge him for anything.

"Really quick sketch to get this image out of my head. Let’s face it my inquisitor will support Cole 100% with his strange ideas."

Read Asunder recently, more interested in the Cole character than otherwise. Did not like it at first, too whiney emo, but overtime became more interesting, given the context of DAI can see why character is appropriate. Feel a little sorry for Lord Seeker Lambert. Wondering if it is cannon, because it does detail Wynnes fate as well. Would like to find out about Rhys and Evangeline as well. Interested in this story line in the game, but not getting hopes up.

I think its interesting that Cole seems to have his own thread of logic which he follows, but which often leads him to arrive at an entirely different conclusion than everyone else. It makes perfect sense to him, at least.
Inquisitor: "So Cole, someone found a barrel full of misplaced daggers. Was that you?"
Cole: "They were safer there."
Inquisitor: "..."
Cole: "Inquisitor?"
Inquisitor: "I...I honestly can't argue with that."
Cole: "Right."
Inquisitor: "Well then, uh, carry on..."
Curious to see what other explanations he gives for his quirky behaviour.

I wonder why most of the things involve food. What do we know of at this point? Bread, turnips, plums, cheese and mint...

Cole struck me in Asunder as someone who had a mild case of autism (or similar behavior that makes his train of thought seem logically disjuncted to a "normal" baseline perceiver), and it looks like that perspective stuck around in force in DAI in spite of his "awakening" of sorts at the end of Asunder.
That's always been the one main reason I could never mistrust or hate the guy. He reminds me too strongly of some people I know who're just... atypical, and there isn't anything inherently wrong with falling outside the 'norm' of social behavior... so long as no one's getting hurt by it, as a caveat.

Oh man, I'm a big fan of both of these characters and you're bang on about the similarities, I'd never realised before.
If Cole ends up with a complete character arc as satisfying as Simon's ended up being, I'll finish DA:I a happy* girl.
*Albeit probably sobbing

Yeah, Simon had a great character arc in Misfits, but aside from his actor wanting to leave, the end of his story was completely contrived imo? *
Yeah, here's to hoping that Cole gets a heroic story arc in Inquisition, hopefully without a similar tearjerker ending?
* I never understood why Simon went back in time knowing that he was ensuring a time loop where both of them died anyway in the end? That's kind of the opposite of saving someone? Plus he had the ability to time travel, so why didn't he try and alter the timeline to create an alternate present where they were both alive and happy? Or go back and prevent that mad cultist girl from dying, so her "ghost" wouldn't come back to murder Alisha? It's not like Curtis didn't use to change history all the time when he had a similar power, so temporal paradoxes aren't apparently that much of an issue?
