I'm about to get Cole again in this new playthough. I'll double check these while I'm at it.
Yeah thanks, I already passed it on my second playthrough and realized too late I forgot to write them down. I only know for sure the cat one because it brought me great joy. And the dagger one as I got it last.
I wonder if they just removed the bread on battlements one though? I mean I've been everywhere I have a hard time believing it's been missed.

Can someone tell me a good build for Cole? He keeps getting slaughtered.

I always have to play as Cole or he dies a lot(and I also enjoy running around as him but whatever)
Could always respec him to be an archer if it is a big problem.
The only thread I really see talking about it is this one: x
I'm terrible with tactics and such I just run in and die(and have my mage revive Cole) so all I can offer is links. ![]()

nah, Duel blade is my favorite class, and I am NOT kicking Varric out. Thanks for the link though.

Yeah I understand, I wouldn't change his class either. Duel Dagger is really fun, there just seems to be some balancing issues. Sorry I can't be of more help!

Alright, so I've been running around Skyhold over and over again (between trying to find bread and trying to get the other stuff to trigger). This is what I've got so far:
Plums on the windowsill:
- Woman dusting a table just inside of the tavern's front door to the right.
- Woman outside of the tavern, by the tavern's north eastern wall (between the tavern and the blacksmith building).
Barrel full of daggers:
- Man on the ramparts outside of Cullen's office (go out of the northwest door of the office).
- Woman standing right by the gate to the large bridge leading out of Skyhold (the gate is near the vendors and surgeon area).
Missing wheel of cheese and crushed mint:
- Woman in the kitchen.
- Woman at the bar in the tavern.
Burnt turnips in the fireplaces:
- Man sweeping near the entrance of the throne room.
- Man outside of the blacksmith building (between the tavern and the blacksmith building).
Note: You may need to talk to Cole about the strange things happening or freshly load into Skyhold to get the next portions to trigger.
I'm still desperately running around trying to find turnips and the missing one (bread or whatever). ![]()

Just to add you definitely don't need to bring it up with Cole to progress it. I got the second continuation dialogue and never brought it up with him at all my second playthrough.

Hm, I was having a hard time getting the second parts to trigger. I went to him and talked to him about it and they popped up for me after. Sometimes I saved and loaded that save to make them trigger. Maybe it's just buggy or something?
Edit: what platform are you playing on? Wondering if it is buggy for PC or something.

I'm on PC. On this playthrough I just completed Here Lies the Abyss when the second ones started triggering. Hadn't brought up the weird things he'd been doing since I got him. Once I noticed the NPCs were talking about stuff Cole did I went and talked to him and could ask and confront him. I actually didn't realize it was possible until this playthrough.
I think a few things might be time or storyline based honestly.

Is there a third part to the cheese/mint one? The others disappeared from my chat wheel after I finished them but that one's still there.
Also I've updated the OP, if there's anything anyone thinks I should add or if I messed anything up, let me know. (The new stuff is in the spoiler tag at the top)

Really? It's gone from my dialogue wheel(my only option is "Goodbye") and I only got the one cat dialogue.

I just double checked to make sure I "turned it in", and yup it's still there. Weird.

Not really, just someone that nerds out too much about fictional characters and has too much time on her hands. I spent way too much time trying to find all this stuff today.

Edit: Also Kisari did most of the work. I only kind of verified it (which was shamefully time consuming on my part). ![]()

There's also spider webs or something like that. Can't remember where that was though ![]()

So, before the game was released, I went and read the Asunder. And I was really angry about Cole's behavior and habits and murdering and messing with people's minds, and I wrote two rather lengthy posts about it in this very thread.
I still stick to these points. But I went and played the game(well, not completely, not yet, though I got spoiled), and I did recruit Cole.
And his human/white card path is amazing. It has exactly the things I wanted to tell the character, and it warns exactly of those things I couldn't stand in the book. And Cole really learns and grows.
I don't think I've seen all his scenes yet, but I just wanted to come and say that, yes, he's a wonderful, amazing character, and I'm really glad he is in the game. (Though I wish he didn't have Star Wars/Jade Empire references in his lines, his banters are difficult enough to decipher as it is!)

Finished Cole's side quest. Non spoiler part, I love Cole (1). He is now my favorite character in the series (2). I love what Patrick did with him (3).

I finally finished drawing the remake of Cole that I planned on making.
Kept on learning new things while drawing him, I just couldn't stop!
Cole makes me a better artist, he is helping me!
This.Is.Sick. 10/10. I'm mesmerized by your talent; great job!!
