I wish cole looked more like a lanky young man than his depiction in the trailer. He looks far too tall and muscular, at lest imo.
Than fanart with his nose bleeding is almost exactly how I imagined him,

I think they really over do it with the muscle tone of the male humans. They're pretty much all insanely ripped. Only the elves aren't. ![]()

Biowares human males are really beefy and top heavy. Drives me up a wall how they all have that same body type unless it's the fat model with the human males. Even the nobles where beefy to the point they looked like they worked out. It's why I play an elf all the time in their game, that or the human females.
Urghhh their hips are also really narrow, it makes them look like this weird buff tops with itty bitty stick hips and legs. I know male anatomy is similar to that, but they're just to much for all the males to look that way, certainly when they could have leaner bodies and not so top heavy.

I hope some day BioWare is able to integrate unique body models into the DA series.

It's also annoying because mega-buff guys aren't the sort of characters I want to play. Less Batman, more Robin.

The reason they wont make PCs different sizes is the armor fitting, I'm pretty sure. It can't make much of a difference with party characters, though. We can't even fit Iron Bull in Skyhold until the third round of upgrades.

I'm just hoping that there is a least couple different body models for NPC's. Although thats just wishful thinking

Ahehe I always wondered how Gaider didn't think Cole wasn't going to come out possibly quite the looker, on the back of Asunder if that was supposed to be art of Cole then he already was handsome from the start. Even if it was just supposed to be neutral looking.
I will make sure that the companions are in line and are a big happy family for him BI My male elf inquisitor mage will be a big brother to him. There will be no mean sassing at him, and I gotta make sure Cullen is hidden away from Cole in case Cole misunderstands Cullen for having been a Templar.
I didn't realize until I actually got to Cullen in my drawing list of the companions that he was a Templar (what, I barely remember him from the games) and that 'ohh. Cole may have issues with you Cullen...'. So if we get to place where the companions rooms are in the main base, totally putting those two far away from each other as possible.

I can imagine Cullen having a bigger issue with Cole than the other way around. Cole does know there's good templars (like Evangeline) but Cullen is probably going to be reeeeeeeeeeeally weary of a maybe-demon-spirit-thing. Well, when that gets revealed at least. I wonder at what point in the game that knowledge will be privy to us (especially new players that didn't read Asunder) and the companions. Wonder if it'd be off the bat or part of his character arc...hm...

Cole knows Evangeline was a templar and he definitely liked her, so I'm sure he would be accepting of a templar if they were accepting of him. I don't think Cullen will be accepting, though, and that's probably going to be an issue. I think the same with Cassandra. Lambert was a seeker, too.

I think Cole is probably too big, but I mean, it makes sense for the other guys. They're hardened warriors? They have to be in shape.

Still rooting for Crispin Freeman to voice Cole. He would be perfect for that role.

Ah butts that's what I meant with the whole Cullen being a possible up fuss rather then Cole. This is what I get for posting when I just wake up and my coffee hasn't kicked in XD Though I can still image Cole being certainly wary of new Templars at least, Eva he trusted because of the situation with the fade and Eva taking the extra steps to remembering Cole rather then just up and forget him.
Cullen having a massive issue with Cole if he interperates Cole as a demon like many other people tend to do would be a super issue...
Crispin Freeman...? *digs on the youtubes to find his work since is dreadful at names and voice actors* Oh he has a pretty good range, I can see him working as long as he keeps the suave down since that seems to be the type he plays.

Cole would most likely have an Orlesian accent. My vote is for Gaspard Ulliel.

I keep having trouble picturing Cole with that much of an accent. Aside from just raspy because of how the book detailed his voice as.

Pretty sure Cole's VA has already been chosen and recording for a long time. Assuming these tweets are about him and they're 7+ months old:
David Gaider @davidgaider Oct 31
Sitting in on an early morning VO session for one of my characters. This is always my favorite part.
David Gaider @davidgaider Oct 31
This character has some lines that will set the fans aflame. HOW DARE HE SAY THAT!! I can't wait.
David Gaider @davidgaider Oct 31
Actor says "on my own" in his line. Cue @CabLivingstone and I singing Les Miz for the next 5 minutes.
The last one is the reason I think it might be Cole's VA. "On my own" and Les Miserables seems pretty appropriate for him.

I don't believe Cole would be a traitor. Of all the characters in Asunder, Cole seems to be the least treachorous. Did I write this word correctly?..
