Hm, I just thought of something. What if Leliana sends us to get Cole, assuming she somehow remembers him. She would know of his capabilities and might have some idea of his whereabouts since she's our spymistress. Also, along with (most likely) Varric, I think Leliana would be a friend/ally to Cole to some degree at least.

Also Sera. Because reasons.

On the Liliana thing, I wonder if she wasn't already hit with the forget me Cole spell by the time they got out of the tower or not. Other then slight impressed fear from what Cole did, if she does remember him that would be interesting in the advisers where the ones who points us to who to add to the party. It'd make them rather useful to talk to rather then the background noise I keep picturing them as (I have been only picturing them as just these option trees at the moment. 'I want this place military, pick Cullen to handle that' etc)

sidenote: does anyone else think his hair sort of looks like cotton candy/wool/something in this shot or is it just me?    

 

edit: it just seems super...matte or something. I can't quite put my finger on it...but also a photo through glass of a printed out screenshot with probably LOD distorting things a bit...

Gaider told us he'd never do a Cole romance guys, for very valid reasons too. I'm glad he looks less buff now cuz in the Last Supper shot I was like "Damn..."

Gaider told us he'd never do a Cole romance guys, for very valid reasons too. I'm glad he looks less buff now cuz in the Last Supper shot I was like "Damn..."

As much as I'd like a Cole romance... I'm sooooo hyped to actually just meet him and see what he's like in the game. Just to get to know him on a close friendship level, like what he had with Rhys   that's a lot more precious to me than a romance.

Plus I'm, er, "reserved".. I've been waiting to woo a certain templar since DAO *cough*

I like MD's theory of him joining the inquisition to Avenge Rhys (who could possibly die at the peace meeting) and to continue his work.

I'm thinking the latter tbh.

At the end of Asunder, he seemed more focused and vexed by the overall treatment of "forgotten" circle mages than Rhys in particular.. and I think this will carry over to DAI. If Rhys does die, I think this will just fuel his cause and anger. Either way, it shall make for a good story (:!

Ah good we got that new image of him, he doesn't look as large because now he's set on an angle so it thins him out by perspective standards. And I totally knew that table was curved!

 

The new shot... still hard to really make him out very well aside from that pout of his XD

 

Also Faerah, it seems like his hair is like that because Bioware still hasn't perfected hair that isn't just a lump on a persons head which explains why we have so many bald/short haired characters still. Gotta take a brush to that boys bangs it's going to drive me nuts if his eyes are hidden 24-7.
