True, I suppose I'd trust him cause I went kind of Chaotic Neutral/Evil, and I don't have a problem with killing. Just that you can't see him unless you want to die, or he wants you to, sets me on edge a bit. Cause like, what if you made a decision that you didn't realise would set him on you? He could stab you in the back without your knowledge. 

I think a lot of this will depend on how much he's changed since the book. He wasn't very opinionated or hot-headed in Asunder. If someone attacked him, he defended himself, if someone tried to hurt Rhys or Evangeline he defended them, and in the beginning he killed people that wanted to die, but it wasn't out of any cause or real reason other then he thought if he didn't, he'd disappear. He didn't the entire second half of the book though, so I really don't think that's something to worry about.

Not saying he couldn't turn on you, there have always been turning points for your companions. Think Lelianna and Wynne with the Urn of Sacred Ashes, Zevran and the Crows in Denerim, Alistair and Loghain, Fenris at the end if not enough friend/rivalry, same with Merrill and Anders... If one doesn't recruit a character as they might turn on you... well you might not want to recruit anyone. The only personal times I can see Cole getting upset with you is if Rhys and Evangeline are still alive and there is something involving them. If you get an option to kill/hurt them/side with the Templars in the war I could see him turning on you. Again, I think it depends on how much he's changed since the book.

I have a feeling everyone will have a way to turn on you, but they did mention it would be hard to end up completely alone in the end during E3 I think?

I didn't see a lot of E3 so I've no idea. But he'll be useful as hell, I'd prefer to have him on my side. Him and the Iron Bull, namely, I don't want to ****** off. One's a Spirit/Demon/Abomination or something, and the other is a Qunari. 

 

Over all, I'll recruit the **** out of him if possible.

Ugh, randomly feel pretty bad. I absolutely cannot stand guys that gawk over girls and seemingly care about one thing, then here I have been talking about how hot Cullen & Evan Peters are, and even comments on Cole's appearance (numerous times).

Feel horrible because the more I think about it, the more I feel I've dragged the thread down a lot with it. I'm not actually a shallow, narrow/one-track minded girl in all honesty.. quite the opposite.. and I've painted myself a pretty bad picture so.. sorry.. I tend to speak before I think..

I'll go hit my head against a wall for a bit and I'll refrain from this vulgar behaviour in future.

Until the game comes out there isn't much else to talk about, haha. Or at least until we get some info on him/an interview. Considering that one of the concept artists, I can't remember which one, mentioned designing all the characters to look more in a way to project their personality, I don't see why caring about how they look is a bad thing. I thought that it was really interesting and it makes me super curious about Cole's finalized design.

Until the game comes out there isn't much else to talk about, haha. Or at least until we get some info on him/an interview. No I just kind of realised I'd commented a lot on appearances lately, not just on Cole's appearance, and I felt it was pretty immature of me.

No biggie, really, just don't want to make this thread all about his appearance or it's what I care about most ^^'

While I don't like it, I'm assuming Solas, Dorian, Cole, and I guess Varric again will be part of another campaign of #Meet the heroes. The last batch all had E3 labeled with them. Soooooooooo now it's just a waiting game, and maybe a guessing game as to which convention the rest will be revealed at.

I'm sure this has already been said but at 'The Last Supper' cap, Cole looked so big!! I'm very relieved to see how much smaller he looks after E3.

SDCC is on July 24th - 27th, Gamescom is August 14th - 17th, Pax Prime is August 29th - September 1st. Those are the big upcoming events, I think there's some smaller ones too like GaymerX.

It could be that they listened to comments on cole being too "bulky" or it could simply be the way he was standing was what made him look so big.

Yeah. Now everyone they reveal are people without much info, if any at all, on them. At least companion-wise. They may do advisers too in which case Cullen and Leliana may interject.

And yes Cassandra did, she is "The Believer".. oh wait no she didn't get a quote simply a card with her title. But I think when her thing was released she also got an interview that same day. Interesting. There doesn't seem to be a pattern anymore.

Just showing his face and name can't be spoilers. I'm trying to think how it could be, but I don't see how. A good number of people haven't read Asunder, and therefore he is simply a new character to them. And many more people than that do not scour the forums haha. People that have read Asunder may have more knowledge on him but he hasn't even technically been announced. People that consider even knowing companions to be spoilers are already on a black-out I'm sure. At the very least a picture and his name would be good.

The Enigma sounds good. Admittedly I'm not too good with that kind of stuff, so I don't have anything to contribute.

Ooooooo, hm. What do we have so far...(takes 5 minutes to find them all again)...Wildcard, Muscle, Resolve, Ambition, Believer, and Storyteller. Hmmmm...

 

He could be anything as simple and established as "the Ghost" to something like the Lost, the Shadow, etc...

I wonder why they're holding Cole back so strongly, we've seen him very briefly yet he hasn't been seen properly in just about anything. I've a feeling he'll be one of the last companions we meet so it'll make sense for him to be held off for a while (hopefully not much longer).
