Physical and corporeal mean the same thing. Incorporeal means that it isn't physical or solid.
And Cole's body is very much corporeal; Lambert gives him quite the vicious beating.
I think it's similar to how demons of desire and pride can make themselves bodies when they cross over into the mortal realm.
I can't imagine Cole will get along with Iron Bull since he has a phobia of demons.
I can't wait to see them interact (if they even can, maybe Cole will just sort of haunt Iron Bull

I've always been under the impression that they're either just able to mold mage's bodies to suit their true form better(as abominations) or they're able to manipulate their appearance as shades better than other demons, along with Rage demons.
Ahah! He looks perfect, haunted eyes and just weary looking all around. Now that we have a way better look at his face I feel a bit better being able to get a proper look at him. And his clothing is perfectly dorky as well, loving that massive hat of his. Still can't figure out the color of his blasted eyes though dangit.
I was surprised too how he was released before the others. A pleasant surprise none the less but with all the teases of Solas and Dorian they really felt like the natural fits for the the reveals. Must be wanting to throw a bone to the Cole people, since there's been nothing on him up until now XD
I'd say definitely brown. From afar I thought maybe green, but I have green eyes and they never look that dark.

It's a pattern shown on Vivi's dress, Cass's pants and undershirt, Blackwall's pants and Cole's shirt so far. I think it's just one of our fabric choices and we'll be able to customize the color, but I am hoping we have a larger variety of patterns to choose from especially since it's so distinct and recognizable.

As for Evangeline, Fiona, and Rhys, I hope you are right. They are easily some of my favorite EU characters in the Dragon Age franchise.

I've actually been stalking this particular forum for the past few weeks since I finished reading Asunder, and I finally found something I felt I could comment on without repeating something countless others have said before me xD
And I agree, David Gaider really knows how to make wonderful characters, at least in my opinion. Fiona is probably one of my absolute favorites so far, at least of the still living characters (I'm probably one of the few people who adored Katriel and her tragic story), so I hope that if she does die in the opening scene of Inquisition, that they at least give her an awesome cameo first. Same goes for Rhys and Evangeline.

True. Either way, I think that his ability to manifest/change his shade form marks him as a powerful spirit.

I really wouldn't call it necrophilia unless he was actually possessing a dead body, which it doesn't seem like since it was never mentioned that he was rotting the way Justice was. Just because he's a spirit doesn't mean he's dead, more that he's just an entity from a different realm. What seems more likely to me is that he's either a spirit manifesting completely of his own power, or he's a sort of abomination much like Anders or Wynne only with the spirit in primary control.
Either way I'm kinda on the fence of if I'd even want him available for a romance. He's pretty emotionally immature, as a few people have mentioned before, which is why he brings out the maternal side in so many people, myself included. ^.^;;

Well how do you explain the fact that he looks like a walking corpse?
Even if Cole was anywhere near the Breach/Fade Tear (and I wouldn't be suprised if he was, because Rhys), I personally can't see him showing up until a fair bit into the game simply because he's not the type to willingly show himself to out dear Inquisitor without a good amount of anxious lurking beforehand.
For my own sake I hope "a fair bit into the game" is more "a few hours in" as opposed to Zevran levels of lateness, though
Edit: poster above me: he doesn't look after himself and spends ridiculous amount of time in the Pit AKA not in sunlight and doesn't understand the concept of a decent bath. There are many reasons a person can look like a complete wreck beyond "is an actual physical corpse". I was also under the impression that the Templars who covered his death up disposed of the original body as part of the whole "get rid of the evidence" thing. Could be wrong, though.
