He does look a bit more...ghoulish than I pictured.  He has a very thin face and a lot of bulk to his frame, and those eyes....I pictured him a little shorter and much skinner.

He made a new body from the fade. He is not using Cole's old body. The templars burnt that body up. The current Cole even comferms that the templer despose of old Cole's body.

That are true forms if demon get mage or body or is summoned by blood mage if demon won't find body he will end as shade. Demon/spirit cleary have cole body one way or another.
