2.If wot says that i can belive in that but as i said once it is wiki everyone can write what they want pretty much as you were screaming at me about anders and templar that wanted kill him because wiki said that she didn't want to that i had to provide video.Anyone with WoT can confirm? Pretty much even picture is suspicious as demon possessed mage if you kill that demon she even thanks for freeing her...

2.You don't need a book to know a copy of a body is not the same thing. Added, the case you are pointing out is when souls of people from the normal world were trapped in the fade by an abomination witch. And even then demons holding on a soul does not make a soul an abomination. A living body is need. It has to be alive or just resently die by moments.

I am so late for the hype but oh, man, official Cole confirmation! It's here! Not that it's all that surprising because the hints were pretty strong and I was fairly sure of Cole's companion status ever since that Last Supper-esque pic and his first appearance there, which was a pretty strong hint along with all the other present hints, but I still had the most embarrassing reaction when I first saw that he was confirmed. And I was hoping for this ever since I read Asunder and discovered that Cole was mentioned as a companion in the survey so needless to say I am delighted and excited  So much that I am willing to forget all about the lack of Solas or Dorian related new info because for now I am more than satisfied.

 

I have so many questions though. How did Cole go from end-of-Asunder-spoiler-events to joining the Inquisition? Where was he after **** went down in Asunder, where did he go, and how did that lead to the Inquisition? How did he deal with the Revelations about himself? How much does he remember? Does he remember everything or did he block out a few things (for convenience and to keep him as he was in Asunder as much as possible)? Where did he get those clothes? How did he get that hat and why is he wearing it and why does he think it's a good idea? Who let the poor boy dress himself? (Oh, wait, probably no one because... nobody sees him...) How are they going to handle the invisibility and nobody-remembers-him thing with him having a whole group of people and companions? Will the Inquisitor be a special exception because of their glowy green Fade hand and they'll never have that problem thanks to it? (Actually the probably will.) What about the rest of the companions? And that really heartbreaking quote implies his character development in Asunder had a pretty strong effect, so he's different from what he was at the start of the book, but were there events between Asunder and Inquisition that had any influence as well? And of course, most importantly of all, will I get to adopt him?

 

So many questions.

I don't hate Cole; I rather like him as a character and feel that he would have been a great addition to the game as an NPC. 

 

I just don't want him as a companion; I think he'd work a lot better as the subject of a quest rather than as a member of the party. 

 

As such, I have no intention of ever recruiting him; my own little form of protest against his manner of inclusion. If possible, I'll reject him kindly, but I will reject any attempts he makes at joining the group.

Oh my so many indeed, many of them is what many in here have been mulling over before he was revealed as well. I'm fairly sure that most of those questions will be answered in the game. Certainly when it comes with how he gets to the Inquisition and why he's there.

Popping in to say I'm happy Cole finally got revealed, even though I was hoping for Solas.  I'm a Cole fan, too--look forward to being Momquisitor.  With his "helping others" attitude according to the website description, he and most of my Inquisitors will get along great.

As i siad 999 times that you ignore wiki is site that everyone can add everything and it can be wrong i proved that before in discussion with me that im wrong because wiki claims that rylock didn't want kill anders and after 10 pages or something like that of that discussion that you started throw random arguments that im wrong i provided video where she cleary said she wanted kill anders so well i don't think that discussion have point as previous as simple show now you throw flase arguments and say that you gave me source from wot when all you gave me is wiki page that everyone can edit what i pointed in our previous discussion that i mentioned.

The sacking of Winterfell by the Grey Joys comes to mind, there are no starks left to infuriate, and Jon is preoccupied. Plenty in Kings Landing die randomly as well. And others of course.

 

Also it wouldn't be pointless, it gave Rhys the strength to cast the deciding vote to split from the chantry. Having said that, I don't think Evangeline will be there, only Rhys. Eva is a hidden romance... j/k, but having her survive gives a leader to the Templars who isn't insane (Lambert or his successor), and is deeply invested in finding out the truth, potentially even leading a conflict of 'good' templar against red templar.

It takes Winterfell out of the equation, further isolating the Starks and forcing them to find safe haven elsewhere, and sets Theon on his twisted arc of pain and redemption with his good chum Ramsey Snow.

 

I would have though Rhys would have done that anyway, after having just fought his way out of the White Spire. I don't think Wynne dying changed much.

Generally I think it was a good death for Wynne, dying selflessly. I just hope it's not for nothing.

Which is a little beyond my fascination with Cole's concept and execution as a character.

It's a really large logical leap. I worry for my sanity, some days.

Looking through the thread and reading everyone's reactions to Cole, I can't help but feel that I've become very... disconnected... from the norm here.
Because some people have taken one look at Cole and are like:
"NOPE NOPE NOPE THAT THING IS CREEPY AS HELL GET IT AWAY FROM ME".
And I took one look at Cole and was like:
"Would you look at this adorable and broken child who I am going to mOTHER TO DEATH".
Which is a little beyond my fascination with Cole's concept and execution as a character.
It's a really large logical leap. I worry for my sanity, some days.

My first instinct was "poor boy, he needs looking after" and it's been the instinct of a few people. I think there's a divide between people who see a tortured soul on need of help, regardless of past actions, and the people who see his past actions and his possible demon-ness as being more salient to his character. I like divisive characters, they make me happy
