Because some people have taken one look at Cole and are like:

And I took one look at Cole and was like:

"Would you look at this adorable and broken child who I am going to mOTHER TO DEATH".

Which is a little beyond my fascination with Cole's concept and execution as a character.

It's a really large logical leap. I worry for my sanity, some days.

Just a note here that I'm seeing a few things mentioned as coming from the article which must either be misinterpretation/mistranslation or an error on the magazine's part. Feel free to speculate on what they've written, but I advise caution before taking anything said as gospel just yet.

Again, I'm not using the wiki as a direct source. I literately got the book out and checked the page that as listed in the source. Which is why I keep saying you don't know what you are talking about and grasping for straws. The issue your trying to bring up is that you can't validate the source I gave you. That's you issue, not mine. If you do have a WoT book then there would be no issue with you looking up this page. If you say that the only valid source is Wot then you should also not only be using the book for sources but have it ready to check sources give. You can't have where you say it's the only valid source and not even have  the  book the check it in the first place. That is your issue.And If I give you a page it's up to you to look it up, not from me to show you the page. Added, you are not even using a source for your points, meaning you also being a hypocrite. If I give you a source it's on you to prove the source  wrong, not do this run around to devalue it, especially when I'm giving you the source from WoT.

 

And Gaider's statement is about magaze articles on dragon age not the wiki.

I've mostly only seen "I wanna be his mommy" comments tbh.

I think he is creepy, which is amazing because I love creepy stuff/characters. I also love monsters, and monster people. Well really anything that is sentient and not a human. They are so fascinating to me, especially if they are trying to cope with their horrifying existence. The more monstrous and murdery they are the better.  
I don't hate him or want him away from me but I have no maternal instincts for him. I just wanna be his friend. I think he needs a friend.

Or should I keep him around just to make sure he doesn't get into trouble?

Or maybe just kill him because he's some sort of demon/abomination thing?

I wonder how he'll be introduced in the game. That will be a big factor in how my PC reacts.

Or keep him around to send on missions where there's a high chance of someone dying. 

 

I find it useful to always keep around a few companions that I may end up not liking as "sacrificial goats".

Oh, no, I totally get why people think he's creepy. Hell, I  think he's creepy, and has the possibility to be really freaking dangerous in the worst way to boot. I refuse to get into the whole demon vs. spirit, benevolent vs. malevolent debate with anybody at this point, but I see the reasoning on all sides.

I just have a tendency to love really creepy characters, myself.

Maybe at this point I'm just so desensitized to creepiness in general that I end up emotionally invested in characters who I would most likely run from, screaming, in real life.
