Seeing as we already have Cole now, I get the feeling Rhys and Evangeline are dead. 

I believe they said "at least one" character featured from both Asunder and The Masked Empire.

I don't get it. Is Cole like Data? Is he childlike in that he's innocent in the head? What does "mind of a child" imply? Is he like Sandal and only knows one word because he's mentally retarded? Is like a child in that he wears pullups and talks like, "Oh hewwo Inqwizzatahh!" because if that's the case then what a sh*tty character.

I don't want to discuss this, in all honesty. My point is that they said he has a child like mentality, not a Teenager one, so the fact that teenagers play the game isn't relevant at all with the possibility of Cole being a LI.

 

Erm, I don't actually disagree, so...?

(They are however to my utter chagrin giving mixed signals whether they actually mean child, so people can't be blamed for speculating until they actually play the game.)

I wish people would move on from the romance/insect topic. It's a taboo and like all taboos there are those who enjoy the taboo for taboo sakes/or way more complicated reasons that are entirely justified to them.

Anyways. Yeah I could see Adriana appearing in game and being a sort of quest character that Cole would think that Rhys would be around. I would love to have her in game, just to learn more about what the butts she was thinking in the book.

Its the same idea though.You cant decide who you fall in love with.

I happen to know two incestous couples personally,and theyre the sweetest people youll ever meet.

They have never done anything wrong,and yet there being beaten down mentally for something they had no choice in.

 

The very fact that these four great people are psychologically tortured,to the point that two of them eventried to commit suicide together,for no good reason is just disgusting.

 

The thing is,if two people who love each other,who know what their doing,who both consent,and whose relationship doesnt harm anyone,want to be together,why shouldnt they be?

He is emotionally a child. Data was emotionally.. unique as he had an interest in expanding his knoweldge of all aspects of the human condition. Sandal (if we ignore the possibility of him being a god in disguise) is both mentally and emotionally stunted, he is 'simple'. Cole is smart and capable of grasping complex concepts, but he does not 'feel' lust or other 'adult' emotions. I think all the people saying 'if you want to romance him you are the devil' are overreacting a bit, but he certainly won't be romancable as that is impossible for his character (as we currently know it), is development possible in the future? Sure, why not, but his situation is fairly unique, but there are several real world mental conditions that result in similar situations.

Is Cole sitting around watching cartoons and eating lucky charms cereal, hoping to beat Pokemon X by the early evening? Though I think I've described most adults here on this forum with that one...

Please read a few books and expand your knowledge rather than condemning things beyond your current understanding.

Eh mages are probably in their own factions during the war simply because I can't see Rhy working with the likes of Fiona and Adrian, more so after the events in Asunder.

 

Don't judge Fiona by the actions of Adrian, especially since we never got POV chapter from Fiona. All of her comments in Asunder were reasonable, even if Wynne didn't like her decisions regarding the Circle. I highly doubt Fiona would approve of Adrian's actions if she knew of them.

 

Adrian is to Fiona as Anders is to Hawke.

 

That said, I've already mentioned that I'm not convinced Bioware would kill off so many major characters from the books off screen.
