Well for one he never had a crush on the male mage warden.
For once, Kaidan never had a crush on the maleShep, same could be said about Anders.
Or maybe he's just straight ..
Assumption.

Or Kaidan. He dated girls before and wasn't fond of the idea of lesbian or threesome in ME1.
BioWare ruined both of those characters .

Or simply a fact..

I don't think so, but if they did, it wouldn't be because they're bisexual.
LI prediction:
Companions:
Straight:
Cassandra
Solas
Gay:
Dramatic Hand Guy
Sera
NPC:
Bi:
Cullen
Scribe Girl
I think Solas and Cassandra (or whichever 2 companions end up being the "important to the plot" companions) will be bi, and Cullen and Scribe Girl will be Straight. Unless all the companions love-interests end up being important to the plot, which would be amazing, but unlikely, based on the last 2 games. Just because then everyone has the opportunity to romance the "important" ones.
I also just think it's something they would do, to skew the companion romances more in favor of the bi/gay players for once. Kind of a, "take that!" to the straight players who have been catered to forever, but who technically can't complain cos they get equal amounts of LI's as everyone else. Except they will complain.
Or simply a fact..
No you're assuming, and like normal you'll get mad when your assumption turns out false.
Or simply a fact..
It would only be a fact if you've read the Inquistion script and he is only available to females.
Well for one he never had a crush on the male mage warden.
I actually agree with you on this. But with all the things Bioware's retconned in the past, I doubt that will stop them from making him bi if they really wanted to.
BioWare ruined both of those characters .
I, too, wasn't thrilled at the idea of Kaidan and Anders suddenly being bi. However, I figured it was only fair to let gay players have the option to romance them. It might help if you imagine that there are alternate universes: there's the universe you're playing in where your LIs are straight, and an alternate universe where they're not.
Only problem I have with that list is that most companions sound like males, In the last dragon age games it was pretty much balanced out equally. I hope they still fix this.
BioWare ruined both of those characters .
Ha. Not even remotely.
Cullen is romanceable so he's likely a companion. I think Leliana is an adviser for the Thedas at War thing, but I'm not certain.
I think it is very unlikely that Cullen is a companion.
The Iron Bull and Cassandra are both officially confirmed as warrior companions and we've now seen multiple glimpses of the Grey Warden as a companion in gameplay vids, including the most recent trailer. Given that there are 9 confirmed companions and dev statements have implied an equal distribution of gameplay classes amongst the companions, its very doubtful that four of the nine companions would be warriors. The Grey Warden appears to be the final warrior.

Bahahaha No
lolwut. Kaidan was never ruined.
He was in my game.

It's the suddenly bi thing that gets me upset.

They made that mistake in DA2 I highly doubt they'll do that with the past-characters in DAI
The only thing we know about Cullen's sexuality is that he had a crush on a female mage and flailed at her if you played one in Origins. That's hardly a definitive sexual history!
Maybe he just didn't find male Amell/Surana attractive for some reason. Or he's more comfortable with men and can talk to guys he's attracted to without fleeing in terror. Or he didn't realise he was into dudes until after Origins. (I know plenty of people who haven't realised they're bi until well into their twenties or beyond.)
Don't get me wrong, he could easily be straight, but I don't think having him be bisexual is really contradicting anything. But then, I felt the same way about Anders.
He was in my game.

Why would it upset you? If you are playing FemShep, he never even hits on a guy or even talks about an attraction to another male, at all. So why should it affect your ME3 game?
Did this thread turn into yet another debate about Cullen's sexuality? Goodie. ![]()
I figure it like this:
1) He was always pansexual and just in the closet. He was pretty young at the time and as several people can attest, sometimes folks come out later in life.
2) Or he was straight the whole time.
The devs have stated that none of the companions outright state their sexuality. While it's true that some are more direct about their sexual past (Isabela, Zevran, Leliana,) we shouldn't be reading words that just aren't there.
My thoughts: Who the hell cares? Cullen is who he is, and shouldn't be defined by any possible sexuality. Neither should be rest of the companions/major NPCs for that matter. May we go back to either squeeing over the companions or making fun of Iron Bull's head?
Something else other than this?

I appear to be out of likes
I think Cullen will be an NPC upon seeing the new video.
In the screen at the end with the group, 'Scribe Girl', Leliana (or at least the hooded red hair girl), and Cullen were the only ones not sporting weapons. Therefore, I think those three are NPCs while the others are probably the companions. At least that is my speculation. ![]()
making fun of Iron Bull's head?
