As the titles says

 

Being able to reset your skill tree and what not. Will there be one at all?

 

Edit: Oh and not just your skill tree but also your stats as well and including your companions

Maybe something like Kingdoms of Amaleur had - you can respec but only at certain locations, and at a pretty high cost after the first time.

I don't like respecs (I can't adequately explain them within the game's setting), but I am a big fan of being able to set the companions' abilities from scratch as if they were the PC.

According to LadyInsantiy, Mike Laidlaw confirmed that we can, indeed, respec our companions. I think she said you could do it whenever you wanted, too. She might have a video of it up.

 

EDIT: No video, alas, but she did a Q&A during a livestream and answered my question about it. Also, it was the Friday panel, during when he talked about the Iron Bull.

While they're at it they should do what they did with DA:O by including a shop that esentially lets the player adjust all the party stats however they like with free tomes, gifts and pranks.

As one who like to play around with multiple specs in order to min/max my party setup, I do hope respeccing as often as you want (for free) is an option. Would also give me more opportunity to bring different companions with me more often, as I could just respec the Whole party to fill different roles depending on who is coming, otherwise it will be the same three people all the time due to their spec being the best
