Do you have one, and if so, why? So far I've done the omega DLC with an engineer, a sentinel, a vangaurd, and am currently going through with a bullet-less (amplified concussive shot + energy drain) soldier. My favourite was the vangaurd, but the bullet-less soldier is now my fave. Rampart mechs and adjutants have never gone down so fast for me as with this character.

Hmmm.
Overall probably liked Combat Engineer w/ Saber the best, or possibly a Soldier run I did with the Mattock.
It is all pretty close though and depends on my mood which class and guns I like. Omega is also probably the DLC I like to play through the most.

Engineer for the class recognition bonus while lowering the Thermal shields was nice, but Sentinel offered more versatility.

What is that bug?
If it is the bug I ran into, then the bug is that the Rampart mechs stop spawning but the cutscene where Shepard rolls through the barrier hole created by Aria never triggers, leaving you running around in a circle with no enemies.
I have had this happen as an infiltrator and Engineer. I think it may be related to using Sabotage on the Rampart mechs, which is annoying since Sabotage > Incinerate makes short work of that section.

Yeah, I found out that sabotage interferes with the number of mechs to be killed before the cutscene triggers. Never heard a thing about it until I encountered it myself a number of months ago

that is good to know, because I am determined to find a fun way to play an infiltrator on my next play through, and it will probably involve using sabotage.

I'll give a shot to it soon, but mostly because I need Flare to complete my "Vanguardept" build (Charge-Nova-Flare, almost no weapons used).
Tons of fun, even on Insanity (which I'm playing on).
