as in, someone else who was 'marked' with that fade tear ability some time in the past. I mean it's been established that the Inquisitor can open them, not just close them. Perhaps the antagonist and the Inquisitor are going to be closely linked.
Could the main antagonist just be exactly like the Inquisitor?

Could be, it seems anything could be possible though. There are creepy new monsters and cool new companions. So why not an Antagonist that is the same as you, but just took a different turn? Everything I have seen looks AMAZING. So I have great expectations for the Inquisition.

It is possible. Games have gone that route before.
ME1 and the Witcher 2 are examples of this. In ME1 the main antagonist is a Spectre just like Shepard, and in the Witcher 2 the assassin you are chasing turns out to be a Witcher just like Geralt.
