All text languages that do not have a matching VO language will get English VO. If you are in the Polish region, you will get Polish text, English text, and English VO.
Can we please get an official post with an official statement regarding this not matching reality? Thankoos.

@Noelemahc Here's a fresh quote from another thread on the same topic.
I asked Derek French about this issue and this was his answer:
Unfortunately we were not able include English text in the RU and PL build of the game. There are a number of business issues at play here and we were not able to do this.

@Noelemahc Here's a fresh quote from another thread on the same topic.
This is a quote with no source links. I want to avoid a "he said/she said", and get an actual post with a plaque that says "BioWare" that gives me this response.
You know, something that can be used in a court of law or Wikipedia edit war.

*shrugs*
I have no idea why he had not posted here himself - apparently he's aware both about the issue and about this thread. Probably he has some reasons of his own not to post here any longer.
You might ask that user for a screenshot of Derek's message, if you wish to. Or ask Derek himself, you know.
That's the most reliable way. If he gets bored with those endless PMs on the subject, he can always reply right here and put an end to the question.

reason is simple enough, origin keys for the russian version sell for 20 euros, so if it included english language, people would happily buy it online instead of giving EA a bigger cut of the profit.

That Russian-only version is cheap and English one is expensive is not the problem(though indeed it doesn't sound very fair). The problem is
1) we were told repeatedly we'd get English text, and we never officially got told otherwise;
2) we cannot buy an English version from Russia(without resorting to VPN or the like and changing our IP), which is outrageous.

Origin could solve it like Steam does: by making you unable to buy the cheaper version unless you're physically IN Russia.
Origin could solve it like Battle.net does: by making you able to choose whether to buy the cheap Russian-only version or the expensive International one.
Origin chose to make ONLY the cheap version with ONLY the Russian language available to ANYONE who's physically in Russia, and that's discrimination.

Russians get to choose, normal priced english version or cheap less than half price russian version, thats better than what most of the rest of the world gets, who can only buy normal priced games unless using VPN.

You can't (digitally) buy the English version in Russia without VPN, so your comparison is somewhat skewed.

Ah, i misunderstood the problem then, sorry. I thought you could buy both versions but that the cheapest one only had russian language. My bad.

Back it time when they had started preorders it was ~35+ Eur for a standard. The fact that Ruble had dropped drastically since then does not change anything.
Those people who had preordered Ru_DAI had not payed THAT much less (actually, more compared to some other regions), and they believed that they are going to have their English text (as promised).
Now they are paying even more with that prices update, and while the price does not look that expensive in EUR - have in mind, that salaries do not tend to follow the exchange rates. It's expensive enough, even for those who live in big cities. This new price is ~same as Brazilian, Mexican or Peruvian ones, still those countries have their choice, while Poland and Russia do not.
No matter what EA intentions had been - the results are hilarious. 'Cheap' regions return their games and use VPN to buy from other 'slightly less cheap' regions or use reg-editing and 3rd party software just to turn the bloody Russian\Polish texts off! And nothing (literally, other from being a 100% lawful-good) can stop UK or EU citizen from becoming a 'temporary Peruvian\Brazilian\Mexican' to get their games.

That's what we're complaining about - that there is no such option, and we were misinformed about what we're buying.

Surprisingly discovered there's not a single word in Spanish in my Spanish version of DA:I (digital deluxe edition). Haven't play the game yet, but all the menus in English and you cannot even change your language. Not that I complain though, but just wonder ![]()
I set my origins client in english so that may be the reason.

My guess is that Origin downloads the language set in client as a default (where available and if no other restrictions apply).
But I've heard about some cases where it had been defined by the IP location. (e.g. an Italian player currently living in Spain got a Spanish version).
My Mexican version supports plenty of options, but I had an English one installed (which I'm happy about).

In France, during few days, we had a pack that we could easily download that added the English voices and texts. There we could in the menu easily change anything and for example have the English voices with French subtitles. Then suddenly, the pack disappeared, and EA answered that it was a mistake and that we have to choose between everything in French or everything in English by downloading again the game with Origin client in English. Why? The pack works great for people who downloaded it in time, and there are the options in the menu, so why such a pack would be a mistake?

it's hard to say how it was intended to work for you, but from what I know it only had VO. Or, at least it did not remove the restriction from Polish\Russian locked texts. By the way, I can see that pack among the DLCs. Have no idea why.

Does anyone have en.sb from the proper English version of the game after applying patch 1.03?
Never mind, localization files weren't changed in this patch.
