Zevran is one of my favourite characters in origins and I'd be more than glad to see him again in inquisition whether as an agent or as a leader of a minor faction (provided that he survived the events of origins).Even a cameo at this point would be nice...

I have a feeling that if he, Isabella, and (new) Arishok show up, it's more likely to be in the next game or so, when we go to Antiva, Rivain, Par Vollen... Dragon Age: Another Murder of Crows.  

 

It's clearly also the case that if Zevran is alive, he is close to on the order of power of a King or Empress given the Crows and their not-so-behind-the-scenes running of Antiva.  He's not just a rando NPC.

I'd take him over any of the DA2 companions. Gotta love a cocky elf (who doesn't go emo on you).

I didn't like him initially but he has grown on me in the past 4 years so i do hope we see him again since Varric and Leliana can both potentially know him it would be nice to see some comments from them.

They could pull a Wrex, John Doe is the guild leader of the Crows working for Leliana or if alive Zev is the guild leader working for Leliana.

If he's in the game at all, I hope this is the route they take.  Not that I'm convinced that the Inquisition would actually need the help of an assassin guild to begin with...

Zevran was my first DA love. Seeing him again would be most pleasing - So long as they fix his face. His DA:2 design was... disturbing.

I hadn't considered this, but it makes sense and it would make a lot of people happy. I think the more we know about how many people kept Zevran alive / assisted him against the Crows in DA2 would tell us a lot more about how likely he is to show up in Inquisition. I think a lot of people had him alive and helped him, so he has a good chance of showing up, but I don't have any data to back that up. Bioware probably does, and have factored that into their decision.

 

If he does show, I think it will be in a limited capacity, like as a cameo for a very high profile target, or if we're contracting the Crows as an order on a regular basis, then he comes to secure their annual contract and negotiate their fee or something. I doubt we'll be seeing him around as Leliana's #2 or anything.

I'd love to see Zevran again, so long as it makes sense. And I think it could definitely make sense in DA:I.

I think Zevran making an appearance and wielding a fairly considerate position of power can only be a positive thing.  After all, Leliana, Morrigan, and Alistair have all turned into powerful players in the scheme of the world at this junction.  Heck, Leliana was handwaves from DEATH to get her dues.  The only LI from Origins that is left out and not given a sizeable part is Zevran.  It has been ten years, and this has seen Leliana climb to some great heights and leadership levels, so I would be happy to see Zev now the leader of the Crows and restructured and fortified the organization into a powerful faction in its own right.
