You all love to complain about the ninjamances but deep down I think you live for them really. Obviously there will be one in Inquisition, how could there not be? 

 

What with the return of Origins ninjamance Leliana and a story set during a war caused by DA2's incredibly popular ninjamance Anders, it almost seems like fate. I think Inquisition ninjamance will be the best one yet, but who will it be? 

 

Only 2 Romances have been revealed so far so in my view that makes everyone a suspect. So who will be the Inquisitors ninjamance and how will it match up to the last two?

How in the world are people claiming that Anders "ninjamanced" them?  You have to select the big heart icon option to initiate romance.  That's not ninjamancing.

 

Unless (and I just can't believe that anyone would think this), they mean that by simply hitting on a male character, Anders is somehow now ninjamancing them.....?  No, no one could possible think that, right?

Well, he's considered one here and is in fact the most popular one. This thread is for people who love the amazing ninjamances and are looking forward to DAI's.

I have never understood how people actually manage to get 'ninjamanced.' Other than maybe through game bugs I suppose.

But on that note, I do hope for actual ninja romance.

I was ninjamanced by Leliana twice, seems like if you are nice to her and talk to her regularly it becomes a romance even if you don't flirt with her. 

 

I also had Merril show up at my house once in DA2 despite never initiating a romance with her. Never experienced the Anders one though.

I was ninjamanced by Ashley, Liara, AND Leliana.  But that's because they all have dialogue choices that are "nice" that lock you into the romance.  Since I play as a "nice guy", I got ninjamanced numerous times.

 

However, you can't get ninjamanced if you are actively choosing the clearly labeled "ROMANCE" option.  If there was a heart icon beside the Ashley, Liara, and Leliana dialogues, I couldn't have been ninjamanced.  It was impossible to be ninjamanced in DA 2.

I don't even know the meaning of the word ninjamance but I suspect it means you end up in a romance without meaning too.  The only one i can recall that happening me to was Steve in ME3.  Anders was not a forced romance however it was way too eager as in you get the heart symbol about 3 seconds after you talk to the guy, it felt very very forced.

It's possible with Ashley, Kaidan, Liara and Leliana because "nice" dialog locks you into a romance, even if you don't flirt. Liara even has a little nasty bug that locks you into a romance.

I'm going to say Scribbles. She's an NPC, so you will only see her at base camps, and since romances are event-based instead of approval-based, we won't see the signs as often as with companions.

Zev ninjamanced me the second time I played Origins, it was unexpected to say the least.

 

I'm actually pleased with the heart icons in DA2, not because I have a problem with NPC's taking my comments how they want too, but just so I know if I'm flirting or not!

It's when you pick dialogue options that the game uses to intentionally trigger the romance path with a character without realizing it. So all of a sudden 30 hours in you have a "Let's talk about our relationship conversation" (for example) that seems completely insane.

The heart icon is the one and only useful icon on DA2's wheel, the others seemed too obvious. With the heart (and the broken heart) you know clearly what you are getting into, avoiding the annoying ninjamances of other bioware games.

Nothing like a "Are you cheating on my with Morrigain!?" conversation to make a character look completely unhinged.

I didn't live for liara's ninjamances, why would I live for leiliana's?

 

My money's on Vivienne, but rather then a ninjamance, it's more like she claims you are her property and actively tries to romance the player.

 

That or morrigan.
