What makes a racial divide, and why are we not civilized enough yet to drop the races and call everyone a human if it originated only to say that someone is superior? Why don't we say light skinned instead of white, and dark skinned instead of black etc?
No one says lightskinned instead of white, because that's not what lightskinned means. Anyway, don't ask me why other people do things. I'm not a sociologist. As to what makes a racial divide, it's plenty of things, mostly biological but all very much always a part of your DNA. Magic can go away. Genes cannot.
No but really, mages can be considered a race. Feel free to disagree.
