Cassandra:"You're the only threat I see."
Dalish Inquisitor:"Then I'd suggest you check your eyesight human, because I clearly had nothing to do with this...In fact, I'm here to lend you a hand."*shows off shiny, brand new fade mark on her hand*
Cassandra:"You're the only threat I see."
Dalish Inquisitor:"Then I'd suggest you check your eyesight human, because I clearly had nothing to do with this...In fact, I'm here to lend you a hand."*shows off shiny, brand new fade mark on her hand*
Cassandra: "You're the only threat I see."
Inquisitor: *points up at breach complete with cartoon pointy sound effect.* "You're very observant."
Well my 1st Inquis is a dung shoveller in the stalls as his employment before this big event. For that reason I would say "Yes mam, no mam, I don't know mam."
"Look, I don't know why I survived while everyone else didn't. I lost people dear to me. Comrades. But there has to be a reason, and I will find it out. So please help me, for I am sure that we will need to work together to save the world."
I dunno, I figure the character might feel dazed and confused at that point. I'd probably answer as if confused, and not really sure of what was going on. If it were an option I'd just have the character sit down on the ground, hold their head and squint like they weren't sure if she or the sword were real. Maybe a, "Huh?" for good measure.
As the great Shepard would say "I've had enough of your disingenuous assertions" Then *punch to the face*
No no, Shepard would renegade interrupt with a headbutt, like they did with that one Krogan.
Cassandra - You're the only Threat I see !
Inquisitor - Stop looking at me than.
"I suggest you put that away before you get yourself hurt."
"If I was the only one to survive from among thousands, do you really think that blade is going to stop me?"
And it's "you're."
Then she slits your throat and you die. ![]()
elf inquisitor: I swear I wasn't trying start another rebellion *looks up* by the dread wolf what happened here
It looks to me like the "Inquisitor" looks a bit shocked at her actions and maybe is thinking, "Ah hell I was one in a thousand to survive such a catastrophic event and now I'm going to die at the hands of all seeing eye on armor woman. Maker what did I do to deserve this?"
And if I can say it or not this is what I'm going to be thinking. LOL!
Points up "Look in the sky! is it a bird, a dragon? No it's the fade tearing our world asunder. Seems that is a bit more threatening than unarmed me, eh? But hey we all have to have somebody to blame. Have at it all seeing eye one!"
Then she slits your throat and you die.
Technically, I'm already dead. ![]()
I'm intensely invested in the idea that before the Inquisitor says anything Varric interrupts and tells her to stop brandishing her sword at anything vaguely suspicious.
Fairly sure you are only mostly dead. LOL!
But I think I now see how it is we get roped into being the Inquisitor. Cassandra has been looking for somebody to fill the role and we unknownling survive dire circumstances and bam, insta-Inquisitor. LMAO
Cassandra: "You're the only threat I see."
Qunari mage Inq: "...No"
*Fireball explodes in her face*
Cassandra: "You're the only threat I see."
Human mage inq: "Say hello to my little red friend"
*Fireball explodes in her face, again*
I can't really see the Inquisitor validly reacting "noble" like others have quoted, giving a little fancy speech about defeating the fade tear and how that's the right cause. Not really violently, either. I think, how I'd see this situation play out at least, would have the Inquisitor pretty confused and apologetic. That's a hell of a thing to survive, and the Inquisitor knows as little as Cassandra does at that point.
