So far we've only been shown FemQunari with modest horns compared to their male counterparts. Is this simply how FemQunari horns are, or will we be able to less frightening, huge horns on our women in Inquisition?

Cause right now they're pretty consistently sized in this range.




And I'd prefer mine to be something like this.



Not a deal-breaker or anything, but I'm still curious what kind of female Qunari models there are.

That big?!   I personally think the smaller horns look beter on them. But different tastes for everyone!

Personally I think big horns are impractical. Really make your head feel imbalance in battle. Unless you want to charge in like a bull. Since female qunari are mainly rogue (I guess?) having too big horn doesn't sound good. I think the modest horn is good enough.

Variety would be good, I think.  I don't see why any pair of horns would be gender specific.

As a metal head, I approve of having the option to go with horns for a female Qunari.

I can see why they might have large horns exclusively for male qunari. In nature, the males grow large horns to attract females and fight off competing males. You don't see a lot of species with females having large horns for this reason.

That being said, qunari are fictional, and therefore can tell nature to go screw itself and have females have large horns for the sake of aesthetic awesomeness. Won't see me complaining either way.

I'm guessing horn size will be customizable like hair length in general for both male and female Qunari. Least I hope so.

If qunari breed individuals according to desirable traits...maybe horns are one of such traits that are loosely controlled through breeding, with bigger horns for males due to them being useful in combat situations (maybe? I remember Arishok having a ramming headbutt attack) and shorter ones for females due to them generally not being soldiers but rather diplomats, artists or caretakers.

 

But there's always that random element with genetics, so it's not farfetched for a qunari female to have large horns, though she's probably the odd duck out.

I'm assuming (hopefully not unfairly) that there will be options when it comes to Qunari Horns, both Male and Female. Ranging from Nearly-Iron-Bull to No Horns at all. I prefer the range seen in the Concepts and comics for the females personally.

I think the Race that are normally referred to as Qunari, have Horns Similar to Antlered Animals. think about where they came from and what those horns are for. "I am the Biggest, my Horns are the Best" like Deer and Moose. they may have been a sign of Power and Masculenity, and where probably tied into Testosterone, so of course female Qunari Horns are going to be smaller.

At risk of taking my post bad places, I've always been fond of the idea of "the bigger, the better." 

 

Personally I think big horns are impractical. Really make your head feel imbalance in battle. Unless you want to charge in like a bull. Since female qunari are mainly rogue (I guess?) having too big horn doesn't sound good. I think the modest horn is good enough.

Big horns are very practical since Qunari consider hornlessness to look scary. The Saarebas have their horns cut to look more intimidating. Which also means a sneaky FemQunari could more easily traverse the social landscape with an ample set of horns. She'd look welcoming and instil trust.

And can you imagine going all bow style with giant horns? I can dig it!
