I think the Race that are normally referred to as Qunari, have Horns Similar to Antlered Animals. think about where they came from and what those horns are for. "I am the Biggest, my Horns are the Best" like Deer and Moose. they may have been a sign of Power and Masculenity, and where probably tied into Testosterone, so of course female Qunari Horns are going to be smaller.

Or they could be like wildebeast where males and females have similar sized horns. You can't really look at a setting with hexapods and horned primates and expect it to show less biological diversity than the real world.

Especially when the largest horned creature in the setting is the female high dragon.

I can agree with that! ^_^

I must say, Cass looks absolutely dashing in that beard. If she had it in-game, the beard itself may have made me romance her before my run with Cullen.

I'm just hoping someone will be able to figure out how to mod the CC so I can give my Elf Inquisitors horns, like this:

Rhys_the_Redeemed.png

Yeah, that may be possible. The biggest issue I can see is that the horns may end up floating in the air above your elf's head without quite a bit of work, but it should be doable I think. Let's hope we get a lot of horns to pick from so you can mod the way you want ;)

Stop making me cry, Maria. It hurts my feels.  :crying:

I am helping you brace for the inevitable disappointment.

Flemeth, Vivianne, and the high dragons get massive, glorious horns. Your PC gets stubs.

Then I'll just have to steal Vivienne's hat!

Speaking of this I am extremely offended that BioWare is making the best dragons females only and in all the promos we have seen they show only big female dragons, what is this?  Are we still in the 60's, 70's 80's 90's and 2000's?  They better have  male dragon on the back of the game box that is all I can say.

My thoughts about female qunari were improper enough as it was even before getting all these new mental images.

Hopefully both Qunari males and females will get a selection of horns, ranging from "none" (like Sten) to "Arishok-sized."

Since we get only one body, i doubt it is munch different than the concept art.

You only got one body with the Warden and Hawke, too, but you could still customize their face and hair. There's no reason it wouldn't be the same for horns.

If memory serves me right, don't smaller/no horns make Qunari more intemidating to eachother? So since their are either Political Leaders/Secret Police.

That is a fair point but you have to think about the technical side, how are they going to adjust the helmet or the hair, it is just the more easy route but would be awesome to have more option like GW 2 Charrs, not holding my breath.

If Qunari smiths can make helmets for different horn sizes and styles, so can Bioware.

Honestly, I don't like any of the horns on the original post besides the one from the "Races of Dragon Age" thing. I hope we get that as a choice.

I rather like these. Neat. I'd like to think that Female and Male Qunari would have 'horn' options in customization much like hair options, so there'd be more than one set of horns to choose from. I guess we'll see how that works though.

I think we're getting to choose between our horns or helmets. Not both at the same time.

It's possibly that the horns will be part of the "hair styles."

I can think of one very good reason for female qunari to for the most part having short horns... to cut down the number of people think they are desire demons. if some threads are any indication desire demon would do well if they looked more like qunari.

I'm betting there will be a few choices for different horns probably under hair, thats how they did it in swtor.

Maybe, I guess we'll see. Perhaps Bioware will release character creation ahead of time like they did for DA:O.

Personally I think big horns are impractical. Really make your head feel imbalance in battle. Unless you want to charge in like a bull. Since female qunari are mainly rogue (I guess?) having too big horn doesn't sound good. I think the modest horn is good enough.

How do you know that Tal-Vashoth (which is what we shall play as) females are mainly rogues?
