I thought Merrill and Isabela were okay. And Liara was good after you killed her mother.
Leliana had issues but you didn't work through them.
I rather liked Leliana's, though gaining her approval too quickly could make her personal quest unavailable. Good thing that Feastday DLC allows you to change the approval by huge increments in order to remedy it.

So if I'm understanding this correctly, with DA:I we'll see the end of playersexuality?
Hmm. If so, things are looking up. I like this, if so.
Why must the good concepts die young?! ![]()

I don't even think CE Inq made it as a concept. ![]()

@Chari And say I've said before: I'm glad that you're glad. You were right! Good for you. You showed all those that wanted something you hated that they were wrong! You've laughed many times in glee about this. We get the point, but you don't need to be childish about the matter. ![]()

If I'm understanding it correctly, the setting that starts off the story would preclude the lower class (though the Dalish are not exactly the creme de la creme among the shems either). Isn't the dwarf a noble only as well?

I had a similar reaction as you to Steve. I think someone like Steve could have had even more of an impact if he were more of a "main" character, like Garrus or Kaidan.
I agree. I think characters like Steve and Samantha are extra compromised because they are the new characters to a franchise of established characters. It's easy for me to step right into Garrus or Tali. I also think people like Vega are hurt, and he's still a companion, simply because I have to go through all the "Hello, I am Vega" with him, whereas Garrus it's "<HIGH FIVE> Let's do this B)"
Personally I think it'd be AWESOME to incorporate sexuality struggles into a character. I don't know if it'd make sense for it to happen in a DA game, because thus far it doesn't seem like anyone in that universe has ever had a problem with people's orientations to begin with.... but I'd love love love to see it.
Can I ask what specifically that person was saying about Alistair's sexuality?
It's a 90 minute podcast, but you can find it here: http://biowarebase.n...ppropriate.com/ It's the LGBT one from PAX Prime.
But the Alistair comment was just that the speaker and his friends felt that Alistair fit the image of someone that may not be openly gay, and it made him wonder if that was a part of who Alistair was, and by extension if we'd see a character like that in BioWare games going forward.

Not sure.
Bah we couldn't have been an Orlesian servant elf there with their master or something? Or a bard spying. =/ I mean. As for dwarves. Wandering trader or something.

They do have last name Cadash according to the PAX screenshot, but I think that's where the ties to dwarven noblity start and end. Surface dwarf, if you want to be techincal about the term.

Which makes no sense since the Dalish have even less say than City Elfs.

Chari is happy and expressing that with enthusiasm. I don't see that as childish.

just leave it be.
I know I'd be doing something similar if all playersexual was back. =/
I just hope the orientations are nice and varied and it would be nice for people not to be able to go "but X isn't bisexual/gay!" for once.

You and I chatted in the previous version of this thread. I have about 50 posts in it. You liked a couple of them.
But yes, I apparently didn't read it.

We're still gonna get that crap on Cullen though if he ends up bi, just you wait.

Ugh I don't even want Cullen for my fems let alone my males.
I'll trade someone for Cassandra instead.

Don't you know if you express attraction to one person of one gender at one small, tiny point in your life, it forever labels you?
The funny thing is...in all the time I posted in any variation of this thread...worries about the technicalities of how it'll all break down, concern over all bi versus the presumed 2/2/2 split, etc...I never once assumed I wouldn't like the romances themselves. I basically had that I'd like them as a given. It's always strange when someone comments that they're sure their options will be the "bad" ones or the crap ones. I never had one I actually disliked. Some I vastly preferred, but each had their own merits and enjoyment.

As I have said before, I am disappointed that all love interests are not bisexual/pansexual/"playersexual". Mostly for my own selfish purposes of being able to properly survey all possible LIs on my first playthrough and stat them out for future games. Plus multi-romancing is fun, and players being able to romance whoever, as whatever PC they want is nice.
But, I trust Bioware on being fair. While Inquisitors of a specific gender/orientation might not get who they want, it seems as though the same will be true across the board. So it's sorta equal opportunity, and I can appreciate that if nothing else. I'll just have to read about other people's playthroughs and plan future PCs' LIs accordingly.
