As hinted in development here, I finally finished work on the Fable armor NPCs.  It took a while, but I finally squashed all the shadow bugs in the armor pieces.  I also scaled the arms/legs/feet/hands to remove the 'Fablesque' look.  You can download from the new vault here (still pending approval on the old vault....).  Enjoy!

any interest in releasing the fixed models as parts? I like what you've done with these and so would prefer to use your work than the original.

You mean parts......as in armor parts?  That could be done.  Problem is - no PLTs.  This would allow you to have different heads, but the armors would still be the same colors.  Original had this same issue.  The toolset also does some weird stuff with TGAs instead of PLTs for armors.  I found with the originals that if you cycled thru the armor pieces too many times in the toolset, it would quit rendering them.  I am not certain if it was due to model errors or using TGA/DDS texture on the armor versus the PLT.

You can either convert to colorable armor parts using PLT Editor, or try to keep the original TGAs intact using Old Time Radio's method...

The accompanying Fable weapons are not too shabby looking either, esp for the era they were made... (over 8 yrs ago!)

Thanks Carcerian!

The armor for the NPCs was taken directly from Antenni's work, and I mention that part in my release notes on the download pages for the new Vault and the IGN Vault.  I also did a rework of the Fable Weapons that you also mention.  It is located here on the IGN Vault.  The rework fixes a lot of the errors in Antenni's original release.

Also going check out the Sinfar PW haks to see if those PLTs can be extracted and reused. :)
