Ok i guess you wouldn't call it magic per say since its just the one ability. But the Inquisitor is supposed to have a special ability that to me is a spell or magic of some sort! In the DA series dwarves cant do magic? I mean I am sorry I am not trying to be a lore troll, I like the idea  that my dwarf will get to do something "mage like". Also i am wondering how NPCs and our companions will react to our dwarf inquisitors having the magical ability to close the rift tears!  I just wanted everyone's thought on the subject!

So cool? or no.......

Oh and if there is a topic that talks about this "specifically" please provide link!  :P

Yeah I'll be honest. It's freaking weird for a dwarf but until we get more information about what the ability is we can't really classify it. But I think it would be less weird that a dwarf is doing that sorts of things then the fact that you're doing those sorts of things at all.

I think it's akin to a dwarf being a host to a spirit. They have some resistance to magic and don't go to the Fade when they dream but it's not like they can't be forced to go to the Fade or be afflicted by it's elements. It's not like they are immune to the Fade's effects. Who knows, maybe by the end of the game, we get to unleash the full force of the Fade into the real world that everyone, even the dwarves can have mage children, or maybe it's already happening.

Sorry I meant the ability to close Fade Tears is so unbelievable that a dwarf wielding it wouldn't be any more strange than a Human, Elf or Qunari. Sorry I should've re-read it after finishing.

I can't wait! I want to know how others people, especially the dwarves, would react to the ability. They're probably going to think that he/she isn't a true dwarf.

Yea that would most likely be the case, most dwarves can be closed minded (still love them though) I am still looking forward to the reactions, if there is any to my dwarf inquisitor using magic, or "a" magical ability!

Dwarves should have "magic" like South Park gave characters "magic"

And then use that as the explanation.
