It takes me back to Prince of Thieves. Allen Rickman completely stole the show because he carried his part better than Kevin Costner. It had nothing to do with the accent and everything to do with performance.

If you are talking to me, someone else said each race has 4 voices.  Now I'm all confused....

I don't think you get to choose. It's British for human and elf , American for Qunari and dwarf. At least, that is the information that was given. Don't remember from where though.

It was confirmed that you can pick either one you want for your gender.
Though, I do hope that the American option is the deeper sounding one, since up until now that has been the racial "accent" for dwarves and qunari.

There's four voices total, not four voices per gender.

Have to listen to all 4 first before i decide. Whichever i feel fits the character i create best

 

Knowing BioWare they'll all be great though.

I will probably use both of them equally since I plan on doing multiple runs. If it is anything like Saints Row 3 & 4. I may eventually just stick with the British VA.

How would 16 voice actors be able to do all the dialogue in the entire game? The game would not be out until 2018 if that were the case.

There are 2 for each gender. Which is more than enough i think.

I'd laugh if the British accent turned out to be a Zaeed style cockney accent instead of the stereotypical "posh" English accent everyone seems to think we have . I'm just trying to imagine a powerful qunari warrior spouting cockney rhyming slang .

They have confirmed it. I'm not prepared to find a link (because I can't be bothered) but they have indeed confirmed that you can choose between the two.

Actually, I always picture dwarves with Cockney accents..

Probably English for my main character. She will be a Qunari though, so that's assuming the English voice option will be fairly deep and husky (like the male in the trailers). If not, I could go for the American one.

That just confirms 2 voices for the inquisitor.  It doesn't confirm the ability to chose your accent
