With that build, you should consider running an acolyte...
Talon will be effectively lighter but acolyte has AOE proccing for the CGs.

But how valuable is that AOE proccing for the DV in particular? I find that once I have procc'd a target, I BC to detonate, then follow up with grenades.
Typically there isn't enough time in between the proccing and the detonation for the enemies to spread out where priming more than 1 target does anything ..
Unless I'm missing something?
And I haven't had a chance to try this build yet ..
Acolyte will prime more than one target with splash. I doubt it matter that much effectively because generally for there to be a few targets procced with the splash from the acolyte they will fall within the detonation radius of one fragment of the cluster nade and therefore only one combo explosion could result anyways.
Acolyte is technically lighter than the Talon but if you add the heavy barrel to both it doesn't count on the Talon whereas it does on the Acolyte which would bring it's weight up to higher than the Talon at that point.
Yeah I would give the nod to the Talon in this instance.
so im thinking of going from this...

opinions?
low health - its a drell, gates are the only way to goLow health, low recharge, low movement speed, almost no synergy. Could be fun?
low health - its a drell, gates are the only way to go
low recharge - remember the graal is an og weapon, so no omniblade weight, 3.6 sec recharge on BC
low movement speed - +35% aint slow
almost no synergy - biotic charge, nades, BE
- pull, nades, BE
- pull, graal for catapulting bodies around the map
- pull, heavy melee, floaty bodies
- shoot, nades, FEs
- shoot, charge, FE
could be fun?
I'll give you a solution, put 6 points in Pull and Fitness ignore the rest, you'll have what you want and what we want! ![]()
Well, I inadvertently tried this last night.
I was playing on a very new alt account, landed in a gold Hydra/Reaper lobby with my level 17 HA / Predator II, none of the other 3 players kicked me and off we went. That match went quite smooth. We completed it and I showed well with my piddly little N7 rating (somewhere around 25).
I roll a 99K pack and get a DV and a Piranha I. The host switches it to Jade / Cerberus, so I load up the DV with the Piranha I (with 2 x level 1 mods - no AP) put on my only Incendiary ammo .. by this time the other 3 are ready to go again, so I hurriedly start to spec my powers, 6 in BC, 6 in CGs .. and then I realize I only have a couple skill points left. As everyone was waiting for me, I put only 1 point into fitness and 1 into passives and off we went.
Wow, is the DV ever squishy like that. I guess it made me a pretty good teammate because I was still able to kill many many enemies, and provide revive medals for all my teammates. Seriously, I dropped about 15 - 20 times.
I hate Cerby turrets, they are the biggest POS in this game, right up there with Phantom palm blasters.
TL/DR - I will be speccing fitness on all my Drells from now on
Yes. Speed is life, and you get 20% from Fitness.

So many reasons to like this post. Starting new account, saying no to no fitness, reviving teammates, hating Cerberus...
I think his point is he's adding a +75% BE w/ Pull whilst sacrificing a few points in shields health and the speed increase.
You can always run AM's to compensate for that, though.
Yes, but in the same post he also mentions 'Gold' and 'Platinum'. Sometimes you may get a good stagger out of Pull (on Gold), which 3 points in Pull will do just as well by the way, but - especially on later waves - you won't really benefit from that 75%, since Pull only primes unshielded targets.
If you want Pull BEs just use 66644 Justicar
The Drell god is a lot more powerfull than the Justicar though,
He's more difficult to play on platinum than many other kits (off host can be a nightmare), but when he's played well he's outstanding.

No trench coat, flipping or cluster grenades ...
So's I gets dis rights..You would sacrifice all Fitness including dat Drell speed bonus..to full spec into Pull ..I like Pull and all..not enough to go past rank 4 radius. That will be all for now people.

Hehehe I can imagine that being pretty harsh to play ![]()
The end result is good though!
Besides, I see I haven't mentioned it in this thread, but what you should really do is go full fitness *and* use an adrenaline module. Full Drell Speed ahead!™ ![]()

Turians are designed to be fat. Drell need to be in shape or they become dead space lizards.
I like pull as a power but really on the vanguard? There's no time for that.
^ Woah, a TMB sighting!
I though you were lost to the Witcher ..
I've gotta be honest, after the fun i've had with Bloodborne, I'm starting to play Dark Souls now, it's good fun too, except when the game trolls you and it's like "Fvck this game! Ok, one more time .. "
