Aida Cadash grinned as she pulled the tripwire taut. The resulting twang sounding in the still air of the pass gave her great delight, so much so that she had to suppress a giddy laugh. That Red Templar patrol was in for quite the surprise the next time they strolled through here. (And rightfully so, the nughumpers.)
My, but she did so enjoy a chance to really get her hands dirty. Too much time spent in the luxury of Skyhold had left her positively itching to get back into the front lines and try out the new trap designs she and Dagna had cooked up. Her agents’ discovery of a Red Templar base in these highlands had presented an ideal opportunity to test out her new toys.
As she made her way back to where Varric and the others were positioned, the Inquisitor couldn't resist vigorously rubbing her hands together. She did so, not to ward off the biting air of the surrounding mountains, but in pure, anticipatory glee. On the edge of her hearing, she could just make out the far-off tromp-ing of heavily armored feet crushing the snow. And it was drawing closer by the moment.
Oh, but this was going to be fun.

So, yeah this drabble just kinda came out on my lunch break. I think the hype is getting to me. XD
