We have 3 threads talking about how the inquisitor is the old god baby from the dark ritual. That's 3 too many in my opinion.

 

So here's a list of reasons your player character can't be the mary sue old god soul dragonborn.

 

1. The OGB is male, your character can be a women.

 

2. The OGB would have to be part human, you play a full elf, dwarf, and qunari in the game.

 

3. The Grey Warden was not a qunari, and your inquisitor can be one.

 

4. Your inquisitor can be a non-human and non-hybrid.

 

5. The Inquisistor is a fully grown adult, and the baby would be still in its child years at best.

 

6. The dark ritual could not exist at all if the player chose not to do it in DAO.

 

7. Morrigan can be killed in DA:WH, making the chance of her raising the OGB, or anyone raising it, slim to none-existent.

 

8. You can customize your character at all, leading to hair/eye/facial features/skintone that don't match up at all with whoever did the ritual.

Yes but in each of those threads, only 1-2 people are even considering the option. 

Most people seem to be reasonable enough to see that it's pretty much impossible.

not a troll, people on youtube seem to believe this as well. And trolls are people who pull your leg and are obvious to it x] the people who create the threads generally think that the inquisitor is the OGB

eh, this situation is honestly the samething of when dragon age 2 was coming out OP. People thought that Hawke could have been the OGB..and that a concept art of flemeth was the OGB, remember that?

Morrigan can't be killed in WH. Stabbed =/= dead. It's just like how Corypheus survives (in the sense that no matter what he does).

The OGB will be around 10 years old, not an adult like the Inquisitor.

That's exactly what goes through my head every time one of these threads shows up.  The DA team could change that, since it is their world we're playing in. So there is that.

 

For now though, I really doubt they are going to change how important the OGB is.  The kid exists in some of my playthroughs, and in others he doesn't.

To be fair, I have seen a number of Youtube commenters theorize the Inquisitor is the OGB, so the people spouting this idea can't all be trolls. Some of them may just be dumb.

There are three possible Morrigan-baby related states:

 

- OGB exists (Warden, Alistair, or Loghain father)

- A normal baby exists (Warden father)

- No baby exists

 

However, some of that is based on DAO epilogue cards which are hearsay/rumor.

I don't recall that. Anyways it wouldn't work unless Morrigan hauled her butt to the Grey Wardens in Orlais in trully record time because otherwise, the Soul of the Old God has been destroyed, making the sex rather pointless.
