Just cause they Made the game Larger, doesn't make the game necessarily bigger in terms of length. This could or maybe also in fact shortened the Length of Inquisition.

I am saying that maybe cause of so much content in Inquisition & the game being Bigger than Origins this could also effect the over-all length of Inquisition.

I am saying the game will probably clock in around 25 Hrs. Most Bioware games are about 40hrs with Dragon Age + DLC Content I clocked in about 35 Hrs with DLC Content installed.

I'm hoping they haven't had to sacrifice the length of the game, hopefully the amount of story.quest content will be higher than Origins simply because it's a larger world so they can put more stuff in. We'll likely get a better idea of how long a playthrough will take closer to launch.

Well in any case it will be an improvement from DA2. I'm pretty sure DA2 would have been 3 hours long if it didn't have 9,000,000,000 parachuting mooks to slow you down every step of the way.

I hated the reinforcement system.  So.  Much.

Hopefully the game is over a 100hrs or more to play through. That's doing everything that is. Games that can take me cpl 100 or more hrs is my money well spent. Skyrim is one that took me over 500hrs to do everything and have no regret putting that much time playing a game. :)

As long as it's at least 35hrs + Add-Ons, and if things aren't too linear I'll be fine with it. I just hope it doesn't end up like Ubisoft's Assassins Creed 4 where they put way too much focus on the extras and environment that the story ends up feeling like it just has a beginning and an end but with no middle.

I hope that some of it is taken up in the 'mutually exclusive decision' stuff. Having as much content as Skyrim would be AWESOME, but I have very strong completionist tendencies and so Skyrim is still slightly overwhelming for me. I sort of want to be able to 100% finish a particular decision path, and then replay and have it be noticeably different with the different exclusions and such.

So like content amount similar to Skyrim, at least 2 playthroughs to get at it all so I don't start dancing at the level cap halfway through the main quest.

From this interview :

"If players push through side missions and cinematic sequences, Lee estimated the game will take somewhere between 40 and 50 hours. All-in, with the side missions, time for exploration and viewing of sequences, Lee said there will be well over 100 hours of gameplay."

If you stick to the main quest than it's about 40 to 50 hours but if you explore and do side quests than you're looking at 100+ hours and that's just your first playthrough, don't forget each race and class will have different reactions from NPC's and possibly slightly different storylines and even gameplay that will add more replay value, i can roughly estimate that i will be playing around 800 hours just to play the game differently with each race/class and getting different endings that will best fit my characters, this also doesn't include me just wondering around enjoying the world or trying to get all the achievements.

My first playthrough will be as a male Qunari warrior and i plan on doing as much as possible so I'm looking at 100+ hours right from the start, than my second go will be to try out different paths as my Qunari Warrior if I'm not pleased with his ending or decisions, after that i have to play as a female Qunari mage just to see how they look and how people will react to them, plus I'll have to pick the best ending and story i want for her, after that I'm not so sure but i will probably play with each class for each race, so we'll probably be playing hundreds of hours without DLC, nothing to worry about when it comes to length.

With all the news of multiplayer and managing the keep and having a super XO composer over Inon will affect focus on story/polishing. That's my main concern.

With all the news of multiplayer

there's been news on multiplayer? I thought it was still in that "it may have it, it may not" stage.

DG said the game will feature "multiplayer in some form."

Though he didn't clarify how it's gonna work.

I wouldn't be surprised if its over 40 hours or more especially doing a completionist playthrough.

That's a relief

This is the problem with story centric game titles.  Once you know the ins and outs of the story, there's really not a whole lot left for you to do.  Whereas a game like Diablo III with practically zero story other than just "kill demons" I have already put in over 300 hours and see no end in sight.
