Pure speculation on my part, but what if Justice survives Anders' (possible) death, and decides he needs to complete what he started with Anders? What if his solution is to kill the heads of the Chantry and the Circle because he finds them incapable of making change he wants?

If he's still haunting Anders' body, then I could see him hiding in the ranks of the Wardens after such an attack, or the Wardens capture him since he's still one of them, and containing him.

Well, Jusice/Vengeance probably did survive, because I don't think you can actually kill a spirit.  If you let Anders live, he'd still be alive and kicking in Anders' body.  If not, then there is no telling where he is, or what he is doing.  Or perhaps you actually are able to kill a spirit, if it is in a host at the time.  Hard to say...

If there's a way to kill a spirit - I'll kill Justice (isn't it Vengeance now?) if I'm in a good mood.

If I take the time to think about DA 2... then I'll stuff Justice in another dead body and lock him away forever in the darkest recesses of the Deep Roads.

Then I'd kill him again. SLOWLY. Someone needs to pay for the atrocity that was Anders in DA2.

The embodiment of Justice having it served to him by arrogant mortals, how ironic.

On a serious note, I'd love to see Justice back in DA:I, even if it is as vengeance. I loved his character in Awakening and would really like to see him again.

Forget where, but think I read a strong possibility that's the case, if Anders shows and was dispatched in one's worldstate.

Well, I'm not going to hurt a real live human being, that'd be crazy, lol. So poor Justice would have to bear the brunt of my bottled up Anders 2.0 hostility. I'm not even sorry.  :P

I'm confused. I thought the way to kill demons (and spirits, since demons are basically evil spirits) was to kill the bodies they possess if they are not inside the Fade. Have we just been banishing back every demon we've fought in the games? If not, then Justice is dead if we killed Anders.

Wisps are the fragments of spirits long since defeated, barely conscious of what they were, but sill there. If we killed Justice, he may simply hop bodies, or he may actually be killed and his fragments scattered as wisps.

It's hard to say, since we killed the physical body of Anders, and I don't know if Justice's life force was bound to Anders or whatnot, but it can go either way.

There is absolutely nothing that has happened in the games, books, or comics that seems to indicate that Justice (or Vengeance) is truly "dead."  Even with the potential death of Anders, Justice would likely seek out a new living host since I doubt that it would be able to return to the Fade on its own.  Regardless, Justice has been affected by Ander's tainted, Grey Warden blood, so it's tough to say what will happen to it.

People do know that Justice's mind was poisoned and twisted BT Anders emotions and that DAA Justice would never do what he did in DA2?
Or do they like to pretend that Anders was completely innocent?

Anders wasn't innocent (partly the reason why i killed him)

but neither was justice.

You won't kill them if they are not in the Fade, just as you won't kill people in the Fade. Demons would go back to the Fade once the possessed one has been killed. Don't know if it always works that way though. It's also unclear if demons "die" when they are killed in their true forms but are outside the Fade.

The confusion also persists with people in the Fade. In DA 2, we were able to "kill" our party members in the Fade, but none of them would turn Tranquil(Feynriel turned Tranquil when we kill him). But then Tranquility seems to be a scenario where one is killed in the Fade, so I don't know which is true, or if both are true and some other conditions apply.

The argument that Justice is the cause and that Anders is the innocent child has always annoyed me, I will admit. But then again it's fans we're talking about, and they just want to defend their favorite character to the death.

Yep. After a buttkicking, spirits/demons don't seem to die but become bitty wisps without much in the way of personality or intellect.

If Justice returns, it will likely be a hundred years from now and he may have no memory of what happened previously.

we all forget that justice in awakening possessed a corpse, so technically justice/vengeance could survive in anders' corpse...  should have burned it when we had the chance

Poor Justice. I'd honestly hoped that we could send him back to the Fade in DA2, even putting my suspicions aside when Anders wanted help to make a 'separation potion' Act 3. I was kind of hoping it woudl just be solved via bad writing rather than being a lie to cover suspicious behaviour.

I wouldn't be surprised if those of us who often killed Anders will see Justice running around slaughtering templars, Chantry folk and anyone who blinks at him strangely.

Would be fun if the PC could somehow ally with such a spirit.

I am not adverse to blowing up people who wish to see mages dead or imprisoned.

Justice was among my favorite companions; main reason I disliked Anders in DA2 was because the treatment Justice got along with him.

Would love to see him again.

I actually like Justice, it's Anders I was angry at. Justice was a spirit and he was sweet in Awakening. Anders anger is what turned Justice into Vengeance. He knew not to let a spirit inside him and he did it anyway. People need to stop making Justice into a scapegoat, all of this mess was Anders fault for being weak.
