You can put down money on a copy, pick it up and return it within a week if you haven't opened it. If you have(which would be foolish to do if you have the CE) then you can sell it to them for a used price. The code will be on a piece of paper. If they don't give it to you remember to ASK for it, if you don't then you're SoL

They are the same code, when you redeem an item for one platform it unlocks for both. I know from the DAO Gamestop pre-order, CE items and BDA

Happy to help. Instead of buying off E-Bay may I suggest the buy/return option from Gamestop? I know that works too because they guarentee full money back from returns on unopened games w/ stickers and receipts. To get a cash refund you need to be over 18 and have a vaild state/national ID though, or a parent if you're under 18.

Personally, Im getting two copies for this reason. I Pre-ordered at GS for the terminus (wasnt even going to bother w/inferno) then I found out about the CE, but when I went they were out. So PO'ed at Best Buy to ensure I got one. I was going to do the get code/return move, but 1: I can get it at midnight and play, 2: I now have a backup copy(I have been getting laser burns lately) $130 for ME w/insurance is nothing

5$(obo) cash check or money order. I'll e-mail you the code and/or mail the whole freaking box if you want (you'll have to pay for shipping though, obviously)

And I can spot a fake check and money order from a mile away. So don't try it.

I live in the uk and im buying the CE version of mass effect2 but you cant get the CE edition with the Terminus gear together in the uk so you tell me what im supose to do to get both?

The Terminius armor comes with the Blackstorm weapon. Have you not seen or read a single advertisement for it? They're given as a set.

The gamestop i shop at, has said they are getting extra CE's and to just return the one I get that night and upgrade. You might try the same thing.

Just a pointless note. But stores in the UK don't accept returns for PC games. For a 360 version sure, but not on PC.

I cannot believe I am seeing all of this crap. People here are admitting to buying a pack from one store just to get the codes then taking it to another to get a refund, when there are true game buyers, well I am a major game collector, and I am sick of buying games from reputable sale stores, such as EA and quite a few of the stores mentioned on this thread, and actually going to register the game and use the codes that come in the box for the free DLC etc that comes with it, and now I know why a lot of the codes don't work.

I seen many people here admitting to actually scam stores just to rip off the free codes, then it is the people like myself who go and buy the game for real, and use the code to get my so called freebies when the people on this board and others similar have already scammed the code.

Then true people like myself, are forced to go back to the store time and time again to get another box just to see if that code works. You aren't just ripping of us loyal and trustworthy players, but your ripping off the damn stores that aren't corrupt, such as EB games that I know the manager and employees personally and know they do not rip of free codes. because it isn't them doing it, it is you.

So stop your illegal bull crap, and purchase things correctly, not just to scam something, because you too damn pathetic to truly buy it properly. People like those of you here actually admitting to this illegal crap should be banned from these gaming websites, because all your doing is showing to other people that is OK to break the law and by actually doing fraud to get a damn code, that you can purchase from other online ways. Now I can see why places such as Ebay, have to use a reputation system to ensure players get what they pay for, it is because of those on this thread that have openly admitted to committing fraud, scams etc

So BioWare, I will be sending a complaint to your support services to ask you to add a new rule to your websites, that when scum here actually admit to doing illegal actions and openly state it, that they should be banned permanently from this website and their IP addresses should be sent to the proper authorities for legal action.

This is what I see and feel to be true from a TRUE and HONEST and A NON-SCAMMING Game Buyer. This board has made me sick to my very being.

I just want everyone to know, that I really do not care what people decide to do in their personal lives, but stating things on open forums that youngsters are reading, or whoever is reading. Some things should not be a public record for information. In other words, try and keep your own illegal activities to yourself, as not everyone wants to read it on reputable forums, that are based on help, not on how to scam others. I only hope Bioware will take notice of all this and actually do something about it as it is wrong and thats as simple as it can be. Thanks for hearing how I feel about this.

PS: As to how I got to this board in the first place, I was doing a search on google about downloads for mass Effect 2 and I got directed here. Thanks
