You got to admit, the veil and mages REALLY DO cause a lot of problems.

Neither of those have anything to do with the Renaissance, so no.

Now goodbye.

Well, plate armor isn't heavier than the gear of a present-day first-world soldier.

Can they sprint these days, or is all that ammo dragging them down ?

Not to mention all the weight is spread over the entire body while soldiers today have it mostly on their torso.

LoL mobility of movment + weight make it impossible to sprint as i said many times at best you will be able run slowly with it pretty much you can go and look for video examples even 1 provided by Hinata supported my point so i don't know what for she posted that video...

Uhm... Plate armor was made with the specific purpose in mind that it should allow full mobility of its wearer. SOme of our modern day equipment in the army is even heavier than some plate armors of the medieval era.. TKS you really don't know **** of what you are talking about... You should stop.

It is not a matter of video. It is a matter of physics.. A plate armour weighed around 25-50kg distributed across your body. Running with this kind of weight is of course going to slow you down, but you CAN do it. Can you sprint as fast as an unarmored person? No of course not. That isn't what we are saying though...

Watch it. You might learn something.

And yet 0 examples... it slows you down pretty much all you could do with that is run and rather slow even video about mobility in plate armor shows that in fact every video about mobility shows that so as i said we have practical examples of that and your theory...

After all plate armor is very exhaustive so there were good reasons why knights were using horse...

so pretty much best you will able to do is slow run...

here have example that hinata put to prover her point (oh god and only proved my point)

There's a show hosted by a Green Beret called Warriors on the history channel. He learns the tactics, weapons and armor of various warrior cultures throughout history around the world, from the mayans to modern infantry. He takes to wearing their period armor, goes through training techniques they went through to fully experience what it's like.

He did a segment on the Knights of England and France when he did his episode on the Battle of Agincourt, which was immortalized by Shakespear in the historical play Henry V.

He wore a full set of plate mail, was holding a longsword, sparred in it, and ran/sprinted in it. He said it is heavy, and it did slow him down, but he was able to do it. He couldn't go swimming in it, but he could run in it.

But I get the feeling you won't believe anything that anyone says because it would mean admitting that you're wrong.

Also,  I found a news article. http://www.popularme...ths-to-the-test

A guy in a full set of armor ran on a treadmill.

I love that show. I like how he actually gets into it by testing the weapons and tactics instead of most that just talk like it is a class. The guys in that one also showed how you can do things like somersaults and whatnot in them as well.

To be honest i would belive you if you had link because a lot peoples saying how you can sprint in that and then provide video where guy in plate armor is runing slowly pretty much what you did i never said that you can't run in that pretty much i said you can't sprint in that...

Yep i know fast (well in fact fastest) run of course we have many other definitions of that but well they don't fit here...

It means YOUR fastest running speed. Not the fastest possible. If you are wearing 50kg in additional weights and attempt to sprint, then of course you are going to move slower then if you were't. You are still sprinting though.

Yeah, technically even the slowest animals in the world can sprint since it just means they are going as fast as they possibly can.

It is fast run not dependent on you so if you are fat you can't sprint but you can at best run slowly...

I didn't realize that one had to reach a certain mph before one could say they are sprinting.
