normal demons (even pride demons or desire demons couldn't) they could only summon demons not torn (well they would cause it) veil that kind of pride demon could do that.
Except the Baroness is possessed by a regular Pride Demon.

She isn't?....
most pride demons we face (regular)
Pretty much i doubt they would bother with change of model if she wasn't special in some way from color to glowing eyes...
Well, we're both right. She isn't a regular Pride Demon or a Greater Pride Demon, but apparently the model is called a Dark Pride Demon.

Which could mean greater pride demon as we don't know what author meant i suspect that meant stronger representatives of pride demons as each demons seems have different power range (read some of them are weaker than another). And that "dark" pride demon in fact is rare unlike other demons even normal pride demon that we have enough in series...

If they wanted Greater Pride Demon, they'd just put Greater Pride Demon. The term comes from the code in the game. The author didn't just make it up.
And I know demons have different power levels even among their own kind. The Sloth Demon who was powerful enough to have Desire Demon henchmen despite Desire being higher in the hierarchy proves that.

Autor could mean many things by saying greater simple "im greater than you" doesn't mean that you are called greater human. It was just codex entry that are uncertain besides nowhere ele we have information about "greater pride demon"

Oh, I thought you were referring to Dark Pride Demon when you said "we don't know what author meant".
You're forgetting the the Pride Demon is possessing the Baroness.
I think I remember Justice implying that she transformed into a demon rather than being possessed by one.
Umm..Totally off topic here, but I hasn't played DA2 in a while and can't remember something from it. With Fenris, he eventually starts to wear a red band.. Is that from the night you spend with him, or is it worn after he kills his sister? Only asking because I want to photoshop a picture for it :3 Fenris is great
That sort of change is usually from a romance plot.
The Baroness ceased to exist when they were puleld into the Fade, and the Demon simply impersonated her. At least that is what I got from it. However, I believe that it was stated somewhere in the lore (can't be bothered with actually finding it) that Demons by their mere presence weaken the Veil, and that they will always attempt to bring more of their kinds over. No mention of them haing to possess a mage first though.

I can agree with that. The stronger the demon, the harder the Veil would be stretched in its presence. Makes sense.

I think the exact line is that when one abomination comes into existence, it will always attempt to create more. I don't remember whether the mere presence of demons weakens the Veil, though it wouldn't overly surprise me if that was the case.
Mage can't tear the veil well can by using magic but not at will at best mage can use blood magic to summon demon.Pretty much situation there was thanks to her.
Depends on the power of a mage.
I doubt that even corrypheus could do that... (but we will have to see him in full power if that was true about his power)

Pls Corrypheus got his physical self into the fade. Merely opening the veil for him would be a no sweat.
Well, it also took the blood of thousands of slaves and half the lyrium in the empire, plus the help of his fellow magisters...
btw, do we even know exactly how many Magisters entered the Black City?

He needed thousands of slaves and half lyrium that empire had plus riutal and other magisters.
Yeah, he needed that for a feat that is much more grandiose that a mere fade tear, and he was one of the people who could do that in the first place.
That you can do A doesn't mean you can do B.
Normal mages can also enter to the fade and dreamer can do that at will doesn't mean they can do that with veil same for arcane warrior that can partly move his body to the fade,

Every mage cam potentially learn to do anything. Question only how much power they have and how much external power they can handle to help.
And as far i didn't saw mage that would have enough power in fact only abomnation and only 1 done that... abomnation>mage

Obviously abomination>mage. Abomination=mage+demon.
see?
see?
See what? Are you referring to my previous point about the demons? Abomination>demon as well.
Of course as but abomnation>demon wasn't point abomnation>mage was.
