That's an interesting idea, would love a fan fiction of that. I agree later on I think he acts himself around her and more willing to set her straight. So in way she gains his trust, he's afraid he's scare her like the girl in BAAT.

Playing it safe. I too have denied having an interest in a girl in front of another girl I liked just in case she gets the wrong idea. Even though if I had never liked that girl I probably would have dated the girl I denied having an interest in.

Kaidan/Liara sounds fine with me. I think Garrus/Liara would be interesting to see, even if both of their fans will probably disagree with this. But I'd really like to see how it works out. They are on quite friendly terms, I think there's potential for more. I have plans for fanfic including those two, but some details need to be ironed out.

 

I'd love to see Kasumi/Zaeed or Zaeed/Samara.

Because Jacob was 1) not interested, and 2) Shepard wasn't interested in letting Jacob know. Kasumi is a big girl. If she was really that much into him, she knew where to find him.

 

I don't hate Jacob. I just don't see the appeal of Kasumi.

You can ship Kaidan/Liara, but it isn't in the game in any way.

-she's easy on the eyes

-IF YOU'RE INTO THAT (which implies he may not be)

-interesting lady

-not to his tastes

 

These all fit together into 'art appreciation' but no sexual or romantic attraction.

 

However, you have the opening to ship with this 'easy on the eyes' bit. Have them in some fanfiction alone in a cave, and off you go! Wooooo!

I tend to ship (if I do it at all, which is rare) those who make sense to me + maybe slight wish fulfillment.

 

-James/Steve, because it really got to the point where I'm outright suspicious (I know they're supposed to be buds who joke, but it went over a sort of 'line' for me)

 

-Liara/Javik, only in Journeys with the Prothian ending

 

-Chakwas/Adams, because it just fits

 

-Tali/Kal'Reegar, because I feel better about it than with Garrus

I don't hate Jacob. He's pretty much the Kaidan if ME2. I can see why a lot of people wouldn't like him because of that, but it's a sort of character that appeals to me.
