Javik with anyone other than another Prothean really doesn't make sense to me, considering he voices strong negative opinions about interspecies relationships. Even ignoring that Liara and Javik are polar opposites, Javik romancing anyone other than a Prothean seems out of character.

 

That is one of the reasons why I didn't care for the scene in the Citadel DLC where he can sleep with FemShep. The dialogue was funny, but in order to cram in some fan service and yuk-yuks, consistency gets thrown out the airlock.

I also thought that Tali & Garrus' fling came out of nowhere. In ME1 Garrus' dialogue with Tali seems to indicate he doesn't even particularly like Quarians. Kal' Reegar would have made more sense for her, IMO. And Garrus with the female Turian he can meet at the bar.

Yeah, Garrus was easily the most racist ME1 squadmate, judging by his dialogue with Wrex and Tali. I agree about Javik as well, judging by his commentary on the dreadnought.

Honestly, and I know this'll ruffle some feathers, I'd think Garrus and Ashley would have been a good match personality-wise.

Yeah, but Garrus changed a lot. They both did. If you listen to all of the conversations they have over the comm, they really do slowly get to know each other and bond well.

The only romance that would ever fit for my FemShep is with my Sheploo.

 

Shepardcest, my third favorite pairing; Miranda/Shepard is number 2.
