PCGamesHardware posted some FPS (Frames per Second) performance data on Mass Effect 2 using a number of Video Cards.  It looks like most PCs above the recommended specs should be able to handle ME2 ok.

It should be noted that all these numbers were generated on an overclocked Intel i920 with 6GB of memory

Worth a look to see what the different cards can do when not constrained by CPU performance.

It is biased. To be honest and remember these people are running with every other hardware component on the top end. Also, is MSAA still has to be forced? If it does, then adding in the MSAA component into the settings on their part is BS since most won't be forcing third-party MSAA into this game at all (at least I won't if it is not an in-game option).

PS: This is assuming if you set all the graphics to maximum too. Your graphics settings may vary for mid-to-lower end graphic cards if you know what I mean.

Well, the point of their test was pretty much to see how well the graphic cards themselves could run the game, it's common to use overclocked CPUs and so forth so that the graphic cards won't be held back by a processor that can't keep up.

Also, regarding forced AA: only the second graph shows results with forced AA. The first graph was without AA.

That said, according to this I'm a happy camper. I didn't force AA in ME1, but it looks like I should be able to do it for ME2 and still stay over the 30fps min mark.
