Ducky was my favorite!! Yep yep yep!  I said that all the time as a kid. I loved Spike too, I wanted a Spike of my very own in my life. 

 

Maybe if I get too sad naming my bog unicorn Artax (or somehow the bog unicorn doesn't justify the name) I will name him Spike. Because I like Spike. And the bog unicorn has a spike type object coming outta his forehead.

As I understand it a Bog Unicorn is as much a Unicorn as a Narwhal is a Unicorn. So imagining MLP style fillies might be setting yourself up for a let down.

There are actually 3 mounts in Deluxe Edition so far.

 

1) Red Heart Halla - Traverse the perilous, living world atop this great horned beast.

2) Bog Unicorn - Once belonging to an evil marauder has returned to inspire fear into those who would oppose you.

3) A Valiant Steed - Complete with its own set of Inquisition Armor forged from the flames of battle.

Probably not. Giving a fearsome killing machine a cute name seems to be rather common, especially in a game setting, and a bit of a joke. It's similar to when a really good play makes a gnone mage with pink hair in world of warcraft. What's more demeaning then being killed by a 250 orc? Being killed by a 50 pound gnome.

 

It's like someone who watched a few of the land before time movies naming their pet dragon Chomper. In real life one of the most frightening dogs I've ever seen was named Muffin.

I wasn't telling anyone they should not name their unicorn something cute. :-) What someone names something is their business.

I was saying imagining this "Bog" Unicorn to look like the classical image of a Unicorn could be setting yourself up for a let down.

As Varric and Anders once joked, there are few ways to make "marsh" sound appealing. The word "bog" should probably be viewed in the same vein.

Either Rarity, or Nightmare.

 

 Fear-inspiring unicorn, then there is no choice but Nightmare. Adding Moon, might be overdoing it though.

 

At any rate, if it's supposed to strike fear in your enemies, I'm guessing it's not going to be MLP. 

Because a mind-controlling, emotion-eating, succubus changeling and a darkness-born omnicidal goddess of nightmare and hate are ever so love- and harmony-inducing 

 

But on the serious note, zambingo is in all likelihood correct, it will doubtlessly be a more classical unicorn (which were often considerably wild, ferocious and dangerous beasts, that horn was not for show but killing.), and likely a rather infamous one from the description.
