If I were to go purely by GOT then of course Tyrion would be the best choice to lead the inquisition. After all Tyrion Is the end all be all, even according the GRRM.
What Fictional Character....

While avoiding AoT, I think I'll go with Lelouch from Code Geass. Sure he wouldn't be the best fighter, but his Machiavellian politics would certainly sort out some of the current issues in Thedas.

There's a difference between weakness being 'present' and weakness being fetishized, idolized and worshiped.

Major General Olivier Mira Armstrong.
Good choice, imo. But Sir Integra Fairbrook Wingates Hellsing still has her beat.
She and Olivier have so much in common, if not for the dimensional divide, I'd swear they were related.

Now I want a book/game where the three of them team up to save the world from the Dungeon Dimensions. Look what you did.
The phrase 'exactly as planned' springs to mind! And I'm tempted to actually roll a male Inquisitor (never usually play male characters) based off either Vimes or Moist. Probably Moist since I see him suiting a rogue-type while Vimes is more a warrior, and if I'm not playing a mage then it's rogues all the way.

Tavore Paran from Malazan Book of the Fallen. By the sounds of DA:I's plot, she could basically just repeat what she did in the books and everything would turn out fine.

She's not actually fictional, she existed in real life-but she has been added to books, games, etc.
Ching Shih
No one messed with this woman. She held off everyone who tried to put a stop to her piracy and enforced strict rules upon her crew. She was fair but never tolerated disobedience. Anyone who r*ped a female captive was beheaded, anyone engaging in consensual s*x while on duty were beheaded and the woman had cannonballs affixed to her feet and she was thrown overboard. Any booty seized would be distributed evenly throughout the fleet to help those who hadn't fared as well and no one was allowed to ransack any villages etc that were paying tithes and helping her crew.

This guy:

He would have even Flemeth dancing to his pre-ordained plans. In all of the many movies, anime and books that I've read/watched, outside of the Bleach Universe, there is almost nothing capable of stopping him. Almost.

For me, it would be either Yagami Light or Johan Liebert, both are intelligent, charismatic, persuasive and pragmatic.

Roy Mustang would also be an excellent leader of the Inquisition. He's intelligent, an excellent investigator, inspires a great amount of loyalty in his troops, charismatic and already spends most of his time hanging out in a brothel firmly believes in saving the world rather than leading it towards ruin.

It was a hostess club, not a brothel. Big difference.

Which makes me think about his unpopular declaration about tiny mini-skirts XD
Hmm, Miria from Claymore would also makes a pretty good leader. Already possess strong leadership capabilities, inspires confidence in subordinates, intelligent and can hold her own in a fight. Oh, forgot to add, she'd probably fit better into the world of Thedas compared to Lelouch and his more contemporary/mecha world that he comes from.
Her or Lelouch...decisions, decisions.
