I am surprised how many people post about needing realistic armors and weapons . I don`t need them i just want the gear to look good so i guess i am on the fence . Post away if you do or don`t need / want them .
I actually think real weapons and armours look good. So I'm not sure for which reason it is that I want them
I don't care that much, but I don't want a dagger that looks like a meat cleaver. That is all.
I think, HR was only an homage to the Ashbringer in WoW.
Maybe, i don't play wow... got boring after reaching level 26 to me.
This MMO-thing is just not my kind of taste.
And in my opinion Hayder's Razor looked kinda stupid... like who designs weapons this way? Look so difficult to handle and unpractical... and the only reason to equip it was because of it's stats.
I don't know. Maybe have the human-made standardized weapons be more realistic and have the dwarven-made, Dalish-made, Qunari-made (if available), and legendary weapons be more stylized. I mean, come on. It's a fantasy RPG. 
I like Skyrim's weapons, nothing too outrageous or implausible, and plenty of room for more ornate or stylized designs
"Just wanting them to look good" is the reason a degree of realism must be preserved.
Slide the dial too far away from realistic and you get something silly looking.
