So I ended up having the fight with Jack and Miranda but I couldn't choose any of the moral options so I sided with Miranda now Jack hates me and I don't get any of the moral options even after beating the last mission (everyone survived) I have what looks like 100% Paragon, I have the champion skill which gives 100% paragon. Can I never get her loyal again? It just bothers me. I am not sure if it will matter with an import to ME3. Anyone know what I can do? I am annoyed that I cant freaking get her loyal again!

that are you playing the game on (Xbox, Ps3, pc) it could be a bug, but I don't think so. or it could be that you didn't do the loyalty mission right?

The points needed to resolve the Miri/Jack dispute are lower for renegade than for paragon. But if she survived the SM, then it makes no difference whether she is loyal or not. None of her dialogue changes in ME3 whether she is loyal or not. Jacob is almost the same: skip his LM and you lose one investigate option when you meet him again. Other than that nothing else changes. Thane's dialogue changes a bit based on whether he was loyal or not, but there are no real story differences. I am not sure if Samara's story or dialogue changes if you skip her LM. I don't think Garrus's dialogue changes any, but I am not sure. Tali is exiled if you skip her LM, but if you do the renegade option during her trial and lose her loyalty I believe she still becomes an Admiral. OTOH, if Tali is not loyal, then there is no Legion/Tali dispute and your ability to negotiate a peace btw the Geth and Quarians is severely constrained. Characters that will die in ME3 if they are not loyal include: Kasumi, Zaeed, Grunt, and Miranda. Mordin's fate depends on factor's other than loyalty, though if you skip his LM it is more likely you can save him in ME3. Legion dies no matter what.

Well I just finished the last of the DLC (Arrival) went to talk with Jack and finally got the paragon option. Though she doesn't want to talk me anymore..probably because I forgot to talk to her more. But she is loyal again. Also I play on the Xbox 360. Now I will be starting ME3 for the first time. Femshep!

When I do Miranda's loyalty mission, I do Jack's loyalty mission immediately that way I still can get them both loyal when settling the arguement.

Mike points to an important game mechanic in ME2: the earlier you do a mission that requires passing a persuasion check, the better. As the game progresses, the number of potential morality points you can accumulates grows making it harder and harder to have the required percentage of the total points needed to pass certain checks. By doing quests early you are more likely to have earned the percentage of points needed to pass these checks.

If you have to make a choice between Miranda and Jack, you're pretty much hosed with the one whose side you didn't take. I worked around this by doing Miranda's loyalty mission then held off on Jack's until I maxxed out my Paragon score. Once that was done I did Jack's mission. The fight happens immediately afterward but i didn't have to worry since I had the Paragon response available.
Hope this helps!! ![]()

Javik the squadmate you get from the dlc is excellent, especially his dialogue. If you decide to get the dlc, do the mission as soon as possible in the game.
The alternate outfits I like better than the default outfits and if I remember correctly it cost me $1.99 on psn.

Oh. I believe I read there are alternate outfits that come with From ashes also? Or do you mean the stand alone outfit pack? When I said outfits I was talking about the ones with From ashes. But it is good to know that that other outfits look good.

If there is new outfits from the dlc, that would be news for me. The only thing you get from the dlc is a squadmate, some assets and a new weapon.

The alternate outfits in the From Ashes DLC are quite good. I have Garrus, James, and Liara use those outfits. But I don't have the alternate appearance packs, so I don't know how they compare to those.

Oh okay I thought as much. But yeah I just also wanted to let you know that From ashes does have outfits with it.
I forgot about the outfits since I played the dlc on my first playthrough and didn't realize it was armor from the dlc

Although I do use the armor from From Ashes, I prioritize function over style. If the armor did not provide the bonuses I wanted I would not use it. Fortunately, it does. (Liara - recharge reduction, Jame and Garrus - increased weapon damage)

Yeah makes sense. You like From ashes? Worth the 9.99 price tag?

Yes. I won't say anymore so I won't spoil it for you. The only thing I will say is do the dlc as early as possible to get the most from Javik.

Okay cool, what role is Javik? Is he a good party member? I will probably be using Liara a lot since I missed her in ME2 (Loved Shadow Broker DLC)
I know these are questions that should be in ME3 forums but since I am on the topic might as well ask then to make a new thread for it.

Javik is a biotic and some folks use him and T'soni together or him another squadmate throughout the game. I've heard all his dialogue, so I use him for maybe 1 or 2 missions.

I always do Samara's loyal mission before the dispute, just spam the paragon dialog with Samara after killing Morinth to get maxed paragon, it is kinda boring but worth a try.
